Out of six rupees of the Foreign Direct investment in India, one rupee has come to Gujarat. It already has in place the largest IT network in the Asia Pacific region. It is already providing leadership to the country in the matter of economic reforms.
The state is now poised for a growth on the oil and gas sector. The state had just announced its new Industrial, Mineral and Tourism Policies to equitable distribution of socio-economic infrastructure in education, health alongside economic developments. It offers immense scope in building ports, agro-based industries, petroleum and mineral-based industries, infrastructure projects, in addition to building international brand for khadi.
Gujarat has taken a number of steps, ahead of the Central Government, including reduction of its fiscal deficit by almost half, prepayment of debts, increased water supply charges with a view to providing quality services, asked State Transport Corporation to hike charges to meet its increased expenses.
In a nutshell... Gujarat attracted 2nd highest investment in the country, 3rd highest net worth of labour and 3rd largest recipient of institutional finance, 4th largest producer of minerals and 5th largest recipient of foreign direct investment.
The Gujarat massacre was pre-planned and the state government of Gujarat was complicit and culpable at the highest level.Three years later, Narendra Modi remains in violation of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998, and other international laws. The Modi government in Gujarat is responsible for the deaths of thousands of its citizens in instances of organized violence, large-scale displacement of its minority populations, continuing denial of justice and the climate of terror that permeates civil society in Gujarat even today. Narendra Modi must be held accountable for his complicity and instigation of anti-minority violence, and for the injustices and trauma that his actions continue to propagate to this date.

Business Friendly Gujarat- according to the Foundation has a more business friendly environment. Least number of mandays are lost as a result of strikes and lockout as a ratio of total industrial workers in the state.

How can you compare China bestowing honors on known communist pockets like Bengal and Kerala with a genuine national and international accolades that is being heaped on Gujarat for all round industrial development, retail boom, high employment index, highest migrant influx (a sure sign of economic boom)..???
