Nandigram episode
by shashwat on Nov 14, 2007 07:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When Ishmeet made it to the top 12 in VOI on Star Plus, I was quite surprised that how a Sikh has managed to reach so far. I had great respect for the judges that they r secular and neutral people. My cousin also said on 21st September that though Ishmeet is a Sikh he has been treated quite fairly in VOI.

But all our illusions vanished on 28th September, when Abhijeet Da launched the first racist attack on Ishmeet "Kaho apne bhaiyon se".
Ishmeet was left in tears so was the entire sikh community.
I remember I could not sleep that night, I felt as if I hv been insulted. Such was the impact.

But after that the series of insults have continued against Ishmeet.
Abhijeet cooled down, then Lalit took his place and launched a tirade against the whole Punjabi community by calling their votes as Anap-Shanap votes.
Lalit & Aadesh show no shame in displaying their hatred for the Punjabi/Sikh community. This is really amazing. I have never seen such open display of communalism in any reality show.
VOI marks the beginning of open communal display on Television.
Today Ishmeet's community is bearing the brunt, Tomorrow some other community boy or girl might be insulted like this.
All the people irrespective of their religion must come together to protest against such open communal behaviour by the judges of VOI.
I know many ppl will get bored reading my message, but these are my honest views, which I thought I must share with the bloggers here

Why are you worried .. these judges do not have any respect in the voice community .. ask them how many awards they have got ? What is their status ? They are basically music directors or singers of B & C Class films.

Pls pass on this news to NDTV & CNN IBN, Because they care only for 20% minorities(muslims) rather than 2% minority(sikh). This is the tradegy of indian democracy.

Gujarat & bengal are not the same
by anish dharwadkar on Nov 14, 2007 07:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

some of ppl in the media have the habit to compare gujarat with bengal.,Pls dont compare because in Gujarat It was a reaction of true nationalist Hindus against the jehadi muslims(in which some of the innocent muslims also suffered).I really wonder why Gujarat riots are given so much importance by the media, as if no worst riots had ocuured before that (pls count no. of riots occured during last 60 yrs when the ruling was done majority of the times by secular parties). As far as Bengal is concerned specially communist They are wolves in sheeps clothing hence doesn't deserved to be compared with Narendra Modi or VHP Or Bajrangis

Both the incidents should be strongly condemned. Both the incidents are state orgainsed. May be the magnitude of violence is lesser in Nandigram.

Thiru Tamilan!

Gujarat riot is the reaction of Godhra and all the pseudo secular media and politicians are the reason for the aftermath! None of the politician and media condemn the Godhra incident, hence Hindus felt aloof and it was the reaction.

Here communist goons and rowdies are conducting the riots, rapes, murders etc...

So, please do not talk like pseudo intellectual!

Enna Purinjirukkumnu ninaikiren!

Nandri Tamilan!

nandigram like incidents is been happening in bengal for many years which the media have drastically failed to highlight because of the control on media by the leftist.
Gujarat riots had to happen, as it was the reaction of nationalist hindus. We cannot be a Ahimsa vadi like Gandhi all the time.

all nationalist hindus must go to kashmir and kill jehadis. Gujarat would have been justified if the people responsible for godhra were killed but instead women were raped and children were killed. Children have no religion neither Hindu nor Muslim.

Buddhadev has lost his mental balance, he can abolish police force in bengal as CPM cadres are doing that job. If CPM cadres are law themselves then why Bengal needs police? Tomorrow CPM worker may rape a woman, buddha will justify it saying that she did not cooperate with him so he raped..and he will be hailed as a intellectual CM.

you cannot justify Bengal incident for that. Both are different issues. if communal riots happen in bengal then u compare. this is just shows your moral bankruptcy. Gujrat was bad.. Bengal is worse.

Re-Capture ???
by Truest Indian on Nov 14, 2007 07:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

if nandigram has been recaptured, we first need to understand who the hell "captured" it in the first place. trinamool just joined hand with the people who drove away dozens of families who wanted the SEZ, and declared nandigram a "free area" where the rule of the land does not hold.

Well.. in that case, it is the job of the police to bring the area concerned under the rule of the land.
In any event, it is not the job of commie goondas!
