I agree we have many things to worry about in our own country, rather than waste our energy & time protesting against some useless things happenings in Pak.

Rightly said Sayed, we have enough problems to deal with in our country and it is pragmatic not to interfere with internal affairs of other countries

Firstly we need to understand meaning of Emergency.. media is howling about emergency in pak.. but this is not the kind of emergency that was imposed by IG in 74. This is relatively quite moderate and targetted against a section of judiciary which was not supportive of musharrafs re - election. . Realise this differnce.. don't just howl arround ... Point 2. Pak never had a democracy like that of India in last 60 years of independence. for almost 45 years in past 60 yrs pak has been rules by military dictator in some way of the other.. the division of power in militiary and civilian leaders is such that expecting india type democracy in pak is wrong.
Point 3 why should India interfear. Nobody has specifically asked india for help. even if we ( read India) tries to help pakistan it willbe miss understood as a india trying to meddle in internal and soveriegn affairs of pak. Rather that may give more fodder to islamics fundamentalists to involve in more terrorists attacks.. rememner India is immediate neighbhour.. we are not US, who can meddle and still be away from attacking range of pak. We don't have strong ani terrorism mechanism unlike US.

A country IS affected by the kind of government of its neighbours. In the past, military governments have attacked the neighbours. Take the example of Nazi Germany. A democratic government wouldn't do such a reckless act.
But in this case of Pakistan, the alternative is mob rule, dictated by religous fanaticism based on the fact the the ancients are wise and later generations are fools.
It needs a strong state leader to prevent democracy degenerating to mob rule.
