There was a report in rediff few weeks back regarding caste descrimination in Indian IT industry. Now the samething is substantiated by this report.
Profesionalism will be soon replaced by fanatism in the IT industry. After all RSS cannot tolerate the growth of the people not belonging to a particular community.
RSS opposes reservations for the lower caste but not the caste system even though the caste system is the longest running (5000 yeards old) reservation system in the world. When the scriptures say that it's preferable to do your own heriditory job (caste system based) poorly rather than do some other job (caste system based) excellently, I would expect the RSS to oppose it. But they don't, why? Because they are hypocrites!

Nandagopal, you have no right to speak about Hinduism and Bharat since you are a fanatic and are loyal to just one caste rather than the Hindu religion, India or the Indian culture.

can you show me a scrippture, which says that someone inherits caste by birth , you cannot .
a persons varna ( or caste) determined by his guna ( character ) and vruthhi ( profession) .

Prakash nice try in spinning the fact. Your spin will leave even Shane Warne and Murlidharan to shame. The said statement is taken from the Bhagwad Gita.
The RSS agenda is to maintain their caste haegomony instead of serving the Indian people The RSS wants to portrey the so called contributions of ancient India as the contributions of a particular caste and not all the citizens of India. Just check and see how RSS wants to undermine Buddhism simply beacause it opposed the caste system. They insult Ambedkar who helped the Dalits stay with the Indian religions instead of crossing over to the Abhramic religions simply because Ambedkar wanted to bring down the caste system. They oppose all social reformers who try to fight the caste system. Their goal is very simple, it's maintaining the ancient caste supremacy rather than creating opportunities, respect and properiorty for all Indian citizens.

I completely agree with you. Did you know that a RSS memeber infact poisioned Swami Vivkeananda?
Sanjeev should be publicly felicitated for re-writing Indian history and should be made the president of our 'national' institutions given responsibility for it.
Swami Vivekananda died on July 4, 1902 and RSS was founded in 1925 !!!
So even before RSS was founded Vivekananda was killed by die-hard RSS fundamentalist !!

I don't know about that. What I know is that people like them tried to kill Jyotiba Phule by hiring local goons. Jyotiba made the 'mistake' of allowing lower caste girls get an education and everyone able to fetch water from a public village well. Oh, one more thing. They killed an 80 year old Gandhi who ironically died with the name 'Hey Ram' on his lips. Instead of mudering an old man why didn't they try to reason with him? Because facists easily resort to murder to silence the voice of reason. Also check the comments of Nandagopal the RSS supporter below. Facist also have closed mind and try to live in am imaginary glorious past that they want to recreate in the present. They try to find a minority or meek group of people to fix blame for all the problems they face. Hello Boss, Aaap Bharat Ke Ithihaas me a bada sa Zulmi (Ghazni se bhi wort) nikale. You dont know and not even tried to understand the caste system in India. Please try to gain some knowledge on Varna system and then comment.
Very well meaning people have suggested that RSS should do this or that to help India. However, I want to tell you that if you are convinced that those things should be done then why don't you start them yourself? Why are you waiting for someone to do your work?
RSS has been working to fight exactly this kind of malice in our society. If we want something to be done then it has to be done by ourselves. All RSS does is impart the basic tools such as confidence, character and skills such public speaking in the individuals to allow them to do work for the society.
It is futile to expect RSS to do this that. RSS hasn't taken a contract(thaika) to protect Hindus/India.
Hinduism or India has to be protected by Hindus or Indians. All RSS will do is raise awareness among people about the issues and give them necessary skills and qualities to face those issues.
Rest is up to individuals like you and others to do ...
If you feel that you are not up to the challenge to taking up issues that you yourself feel are important, then come to the RSS shakhas and RSS will prepare you to take up those issues.
I think all of us should understand ideology of RSS ... its just "character building is nation building" .. So character building of people in IT is also imp. I will be glad to welcome RSS people in our company .. :: I am a Software developer unrelated to RSS... :: -vaibhav
