One of the reasons why true democracy is eluding our society and social justice still missing is on account of our dishonest politicians. They are of all shades, specially after criminals have made inroads in this lucrative field. Bihar and UP are the affected states. The second no less important reason are the cunning and dishonest journalists, who are crucked enough to attempt to swing public opinion in the name of sting operations. The country's prosperity is a long way off goal.
Its a classical divide and rule policy followed by BJP and almost all political parties in India now. People are foolishly fighting with each other on the basis of Religion, language or region while politician are enjoying and looting the country.

gujarati people are not fool. they understand how bad muslims are and how bad congress support them just to take votes. muslims always say good things in front but always hate you and will never think twice before back stabbing. and i dont think killing criminals is bad things just because congress supported them.
I wish Tehelka continue to expose the criminals in India not just national issues but localized issues, like corruption in local public service offices etc.
But, Tehelka will not get success due to undemocratic behavior of the govt in question. They shut down the news channels, can you believe it? How can the state govt control news media? It is disgrace.....utter disgrace to have people like Modi to be a CM of one of the most developed state.

Tehlka is known for the following tactics:
- Not fact-finding stings, but tailoring the footage to pre-meditated 'fact' specifications. - It is known to use prostitutes to elicit desired footage on tape - It is known to tape sex with prostitutes to blackmail the persons for getting desired footage on tape - It is known to do cut and paste job, putting words in the mouth, taking comments out of the context to manufacture meanings that interviewee never intended - It has been alledged in this sting that one of the interviewee was asked to enact lines from prepared text for a TV serial. -It has been alleged by one interviewee that he was merely recounting what FIR against him alleged, but cut and paste job gives the impression that he is actually confessing and bragging about his crime.
Tehlka is perfect example of corrupt media. In India, corruption is endemic because its watchdog, its media is corrupt whose mission is to misguide, confuse and corrupt masses so that masses do not become enlightened or united in purpose.

Another indication that the footage of Tehlka is scripted is:
- The footage of some subjects verbatim repeat factually incorrect allegations that have been around only in anti-modi propaganda.
1) One subject claims to have been personally garlanded by Modi - but Modi had not visited that place. How could he be garlanded if modi never visited that place? But he is repeating same colloborative confession that anti-modi propganda has allged in the past
2) Another subject claims that Modi gave them freehand to riot for 3 days. That allegation too has been around that Modi did not call for army for 3 days and let the riots run for 3 days. But riots began on 28th Feb and army was flag marching in Ahmedabad on 1st Mar 9am. What propagandists forgot is that Feb month did not have 29th 30th & 31st. But how can a rioter repeat the same error if it was not scripted? Shoot at sight orders were given on 28th at 2:30pm, the very day riots had started. Hundreds of rioters died at police hands as a result. On the very day riots began(28th Feb), police had shot dead 10 hindus & wounded 16 hindus with bullets. So where is the free hand given by Modi? So subject in Tehlka footage is merely repeating the often-repeated accusation of the anti-modi media.
One guy is supposed to have been hacked to death, but he had actually died of bullets. Another guy's daughter is supposed to have been raped but she happened to be living in USA at that time!
Tejpal is a stooge of Congress. He admits to be a proud Punjabi but does not feel a sort for his clan who were butchered, killed, raped in heart of Indian capital. But instead he is bothered about Gujrat. This clearly shows his genes and what he is made of. May be a chat with his parents would make him decide whether he is a Punjabi. Do you know why Left Parties and all other parties dance to the tunes of Congress Chief? Reason is simple - Tejpal used same sting operations on them and that's the reason for their blind support. These parties are allowed to bark but not never bite. If the parties bark too much, then they are reminded of tapes. Last 15 statements of Left party chief would explain it all. That's the reason why we see only BJP parties tapes. This man has started a dangerous type of blackmailing and we will know the consequences in next few years. There will be a point of no return.

In India we do have a thing called selective recall. When we mention maasacre of people in the Capital city how can we forget teh massacre of Hindus by Sikh terrorists in Punjab and how can we forget Air India bombing...Whatever has happened in teh past had two sides to it. Lets us not forget teh innocents killed in teh name of Khalsa

outlooks's mahesh peri is a known commie, easily ignored. shady tejpal will have no luck running tapes dubious value on bjp, specially in gujarat.
It is a shame if one only think about the pain which one has faced in ones life and just ignore others pain.It pains every one the same way so there is no justification to anyone who have behaved in an uncivilized way even if it was a revenge to make the other feel the pain.It was shameful of both the sides who are giving the trouble mongers from out to turn the situation much worse. Our democracy can only respect those who know the value of secularisum and democracy. The rest is utter waste.
Out look is a mouht piece of communists and as such it is anti-HIndu. Its dirty tirade against Kanchi Sankarachrya was well known- It is no wonder they support Tehelka. But Tehelka, a stupid set-up financed by Hinduja's , who support Sonia Gandhi and protect her overseas interest including Bofors finds, is not to be atken seriously. Indian Judiciary are not fooled easily by a pig -tailed congress stooge. Yadubhanu
Out look is known for its stupid anti-Hindu stane as could eb seen by its vicous campaign against Kanch Sankarachrya. Now the publisher of that stupid magazine supporting Tehelka ( read Hinduja - Sonia - Bofors money supported) is much more stupid. Yadubhanu
This Mahesh Peri sounds dishonest, in my opinion. He's again dodging the issue of whether the timing of this "sting" is motivated. Notice similarly the timing of the last big Tehelka "sting" which mainly targetted BJP MPs following Natwar Singh's Iraq oil bribery scandal (during which he was hollering against UN's "anti-Muslim bias"). The credibility of that Tehelka sting was about as credible as Natwar's hollering. Now once again, Tehelka is coming up with another conveniently-timed "sting". Fool me once, shame on you -- fool me twice, shame on me! Shame on Rediff and Mahesh Peri, for being such mouthpieces. What demagoguery. And no words from them for the Godhra train victims either, I see.
It had to happen one day! They current direction that the media has taken has caused quite a divide in the minds of people. What to believe and what not to! Where are those days when constructive criticism and precisive probes/debates used to motivate activity in the grey cells of the followers. These days news is politically motivated, its about creating a ripple and attracting attention ( sure some quick bucks in there) not about creating awareness of whats actually happenin in the country. Something drastic needs to be done to change this image of jouralism and for people to regain faith in their viewpoint.
