Tehelka sting: Time to speak out
by Hirendra Chatterjee on Nov 07, 2007 03:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Tehelka is as bogus as Outlook is sham. Outlook has always been a stooge of the Congress. As for the Tehelka expose, if I expect all politicians to be honest and forthright, there is no reason why so-called sting journalists should be excepted. The reporter in the sting operation can be heard saying I will not quote you repeatedly, and then everything is flashed on TV. Before pointing fingers at Modi, please take a look at yourself. There is a saying in Bengali - the sieve mocks the needle for having a hole in the backside. All you Tehelka and Outlook type journalists are a disgrace. You are full of holes like the proverbial sieve.

Hey, you still think Godhra was done by some Muslims. C'mmon guys, I am privy to many secrets. Godhra is a well planned move by Mr Advani on the advise of Mr Modi. You guys have no idea of what is happening in the country. You believe many things at face value. What do you think Akshradham is? It is a clever ploy by Advani to cash in Hindu sentiments. Otherwise, how could he name the two militants name and their city within minutes of their death. You still need proof to believe this. C'mmon guys, come to this world from your glass room.

Its interesting to note that this secular fundamentalist has not spoken a single word for victims of Godhra. Look at the title "Time to speak out" -- against what? If speaking out against riots is taken as a measure of "our collective conscience" then doesn't your silence on Godhra imply a total lack of one?
And who the hell are you to bad-mouth Chandan Mitra? Atleast he doesn't view everything through "Muslims are victims, hindus are fundamentalists and instigators" lens.
"Even at the cost of sounding immodest, I implicitly assume that the people groomed at Outlook continue to follow the same philosophy."
What philosophy are you talking about? And do you seriuosly think Outlook has any credibilty among urban populace. Outlook has strong anti-hindu bias and is medium of propaganda for your fellow secular-fundamentalists. So don't brag about being the publisher of Outlook,if I were you I would be ashamed to admit it in public.

Narendra Modi is a good person and administrator
by vijayraghav on Nov 07, 2007 03:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Narendra Modi is a good person and an able administrator.
What he has done for gujarat speaks for his abilities.
The riots were a spontaneous response from a beleagured community ( hindus) pushed on a backfoot.. The media would want us to believe otherwise.. But it will not work.
It is thanks to that atleast Gujarat is one state where it is truly secular state.
Muslims behave with 'tameez' and 'gratitude' and not 'dance on the head' as they do elsewhere in states like kerala, andhra pradesh, west bengal.
And a great measure of credit goes to Narendra Modi. He is a great statesman and an ideal leader for Gujarat and India

there is a limit for any one's patience. even after this, hindus are much much better than arrogant and cruel muslims, both in the present and in the past!

what is the use of beating the bush after the snake has bitten and passed. Modi knows that even if a video is shown of him killing innocent people, no harm will come to him because he is safe. If his children are killed in front of him, if his beti and bahu and mother are raped in front of him, he will understand the true meaning of terror. Now let him enjoy

where and how did you get that figure from ? I really appreciate the article that appeals to the conscience. Have we fallen so low that rapists and murderers become flag bearers of democracy ? As a hindu living abroad, my head hung in shame when pictures of killer mobs chanting the name of lord Ram were beamed through out the world. Shame!

Those who want to read real journalism should must subscribe to Pioneer newspaper. It is an excellent newspaper with great people like Chandan Mitra, Swapan Dasgupta who single handedly are fighting this media tyranny, media cartel controlled by Congress.

Buddy, even rediff had good writers like Varsha Bhosle and Rajeev Srinivasan. Heard of them lately? Rediff has perhaps shown them the door for their audacity to write truth, and fearlessly at that. Now rediff is only left with Arthur J Pais and Sheela Bhatt! Lovely combination, aint it?

What A Shame
by on Nov 07, 2007 03:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With All due regards, this is a typical story that comes out of Outlook/IndianExpress/NDTV stable of Congress and Left funded propoanda machines. What if tomorrow a channel gets a sacked employee of Outlook to reveal on camera how Sonia Gandhi funds outlook and at times decides the editorial. What would be the normal reaction of people such as Mr.Peri and the common man. I dont think it will be any different from what BJP sympathisers are reacting to now. I am apolitical but the level of spinning that has become part of the media is disgusting. At least Chandan Mitra openly calims to be from the BJP and reflect its viewpoints. Its the other usual suspects who are more dangerous. They try to claim the moral high ground and spread their propoganda. I am a citizen of this country too and this article looks like a last bit effort of an operation that has fallen on its face. Mr.Peri its a sad effort at spinning it your way...continue your propoganda let the people decide what it knows best. Have you heard of Nandigram.. the local government claims its a war zone..one between its cadres and the local people. The local happen to be muslims too and there is carnage going on there ,buthow does one bite the hand that feeds it right..cheers

they have already concluded, the hindus in the train were burnt "spontaneously" for their audacity to try and abduct a Muslim girl! So, according the leftist press, that is already a closed chapter, the people in the train deserverd to die (including the kids and women)....and it was not a planned attack...
what pisses me off really is not the lack of justice, but seeking of selective justice, more of a vendetta....
