RE:RE:RE:RE:Gujarat Riots!!
by White Elephant on Nov 07, 2007 06:11 PM  Permalink
what do you mean by injustice to muslims and christians ?

parsis, jains, sikhs and many communities in muslims like vohra, mumna, ismailies etc. are doing better than the rest of the population in spite of being in minority?

why there are no riots against them (1984 was not a hindu-sikh riot, it was congress goons killing sikhs for murder of indira gandhi)?

the reason is that they have not tried to convert other people to their religions. if you keep doing that, you are going to have a confrontation sooner or later.

Mr.Modi, the progress oriented and bold personality leader
by Renjith Nair on Nov 07, 2007 05:39 PM  Permalink

I wish Mr.Narendra Modi all the very best and a successfull next term as Gujarat Chief Minister.Being a Keralite I cannot do much more for him. Thanks to his progress oriented governance ( In Kerala,We sadly missing it),I was able to find a job of my desire within few days of my arrival in Gujarat. There are plenty of outsiders like me who survives because of the industries in Gujarat and I admire the Gujarati people of their attitude towards the people from other states. You people are lucky enough to have such a visionary leader. You do not have to run between a state to another for your survival. You do not have to depend on World Bank for your daily needs. You do not have to witness day by day strikes flashing the red flags in and around the corner of your industries. You do not have to worry of about day by day Harthals/Bandh called up by politicians as and whenever they want. You can be proud of that, all because you got a strong industrial base combined with a knowledge based
economy and a well tailored strict governance.

I pray that never a communist get a chance to rule Gujarat!. Within a day or two Gujarat will be transformed to West Bengal!.

I am not ashamed of telling Kerala would be worst than Bihar if there was no Gulf money flowing in. Most of the families today survive because of the educated people leave the state to Gulf countries and other states in India for their livelihood leaving their loved ones back home. ( Cont....)

No Justification!!
by Ismail Sayyed on Nov 07, 2007 05:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Can violence and bloodshed justify another bloodshed. When will we get over saying they killed us and we killed them. Is there no end to this?

Godhra is condemned by all muslims all over the world but can any sane person justify the killing of innocent people in gujarat for what happened at Godhra station? Were those innocent people who were burned and slaughtered responsible for what happened at the station?

Why don't people understand the politics, its really heartbreaking to see people supporting Narendra Modi who was the master mind behind the Massacre of Human beings.....Osama Bin Laden is a terrorist and so is Narendra Modi.

Anybody who kills human beings is a Terrorist and should be punished..........

Did you mean 'Some one please give me an audience'?
by Seshadri Viswanathan on Nov 07, 2007 05:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Motive and timing does matter in certain circumstances. This is certainly one of them. You are not entitled to pretend that you are fighting corruption, when all you intend to do is embarass particular persons and entities. You are not entitled to pretend that you are protesting against violence, killing and bloodshed, when all you intend to do is to shame and embarass certain persons and entities. As for speaking out, I would have thought that it is people like Mr. Peri who have been doing all the talking. They and fellow travellers control all the major TV channels (NDTV, CNN-IBN, TIMES NOW, HEADLINES TODAY, AAJ TAK), all the leading news papers (TOI, HT, IE, Hindu) and news magazines (OUtlook, India Today). It is those who are at the receiving end of all this propaganda blitz who have no voice. Except perhaps posts like these. And of course, they are not as self-righteous as you people are.

To add to the above, you have no reason to doubt the motive of people like Tarun Tejpal and Aniruddh Bahal. Tell you the truth, no longer do I have any reason to doubt why you people do stories like these.

Don't Look from Camera angle : Look from the motive behind it.
by Rajeev Dwivedi on Nov 07, 2007 05:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If these stings continues then days will come where every inhuman act will be sponsored by the channels.Like instead saying "want to see rape" they will say we have captured the images of the "...." for raping "...." watch it in Breaking news. Like what happens in Bihar when a thief was beaten by police & public BUT CAPTURED BY MEDIA instead of helping, next one is the case of criminal shot in an encounter PINTU SHARMA in allahabad and so on.....

They are not "sponsoring" them but reporting them, and in Tehalka's case, the issue had already occured, they were not covering or inciting the riots, but doing a post riot investigation, the other cases are not relevant to this issue, deal with them separately, the other cases do not show a CM being involved , this case does. So to try and brush it under using the other cases as an excuse just shows that your religion dominates over your sense of fair play
