RE:GOBBER GAS FILLED MIND OF THIS SANGHI!

I forgot to add in my posting that much of the top leadership of the Sangh is a confused lot regarding Pakistan. If these fellows after all that has happened still harbour some sympathy for the Pakis then they deserve everything they get. The best thing these morons can do for the good of India is to pack their bags and take a one way ticket to Lahore or wherever in that vile country.called Pakistan.
IQBAL WROTE SARE JAHN SE ACHA AS A TEEN AGER IN SCHOOL IN 1910 'S LATER IN1930 'S WHEN HE DEVELOPED VIRUS OF 2 NATION THEORY . HE WROTE MUSLIM HAIN HUM MHAZAB HAIN SARA JAHN HAMARA .HE IS THE PERSON WHO CLOTHED 2 NATION THEORY IN IDEOLOGY EVEN BEFORE JINNAH . HE DIED IN 1938 BEFORE MUSLIM LEAGUE ADOPTED PAKISTAN RESOLUTION IN 1941 IN LAHORE . HE CERTAINLY DID NOT WRITE SARE JAHN SE ACHA PAKISTAN HAMARA ALL HIS WRITINGS ARE FUNDAMENTLY ISLAMIC ESPOUSING 2 NATION THEORY ,BUT MOST INDIANS THINK HE WAS ANOTHER BANKIM CHANDRA CHATTERJI HE IS THE NATIONAL POET OF PAKISTAN I DO NOT BLAME TARUN AS HE LIVES IN GHETTO OF HINDI JOURNALISM WHERE THERE IS HARDLY ANY ORIGINAL RESEARCH AND QUERY. MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN POWER OR IN OPPOSITION DO NOT THINK BEYOND PERMUTATION AND COMBINATION OF CASTE POLITICS .PICK UP ANY INDIAN NEWSPAPER OR MAGAZINE YOU READ ABOUT GOWDA. LALU. MAYAWATI OR KANGRESS WALAS SINGING PEANS TO SONIA GANDHI AND THAT SARDAR LOOKING MORE LACK LUSTER AND IRRELEVANT THERE ARE NO NATIONAL ISSUES OTHER THAN IN POSTS HERE WHILE IN SCHOOL IN PRESENT PAKISTAN BEFORE 1947 WE USED TO SING HIS POEM LAB PER ATI HAE BAN KAR YEH TAMAMN MERI YAA KHUDAI TERE DUM SE MERE NAM SE DUNIYA MAIN UJALA HO JAYE AS MORNING PRAYER I

Are Alamma Iqbal (poet - 2nation theory) and Mohd. Iqbal (poet - Sare Jahan Se Achcha) two different persons or the same person?

Same Person. Allama is a honorary name just like we say Chacha Nehru or Bapu Gandhi.

sk putr, yeh sab teri iqal se upar ki baat ihi tu lagta hai bahut kuch pagal hai thara soch samajh kar piya kar teri itni capacity nahin hai beta ji ke ek khalsa se panga leapna nam tu likh deta
Dear Tarun, you have mixed up the past with the present. Past is virtually dying and as you yourself reveal that in your trips to Lahore,Karachi and Baluchastan you have found how common Pakistanis affectionately try to reach out to meet Indins. And yet you do not hesitate to harp on the old bygone themes of Hindu-Jewish combine who deserve to be taught a lesson by the Pakistanis. When will we learn to rise above such rehtoric which spoils the relations when something positive appears to be coming up. Pakistanis of today desreve full support and sympathy in its hour of need without the prejudices of the past. I will not be surprised if tomorrow the bogey of Khalistan is recreated which has neither any base nor a support from anywhere. Please bury these issues. Elections will go on and building a vote bank on these defunct and decript issues is simply disgusting.

very constructive thoughts and bold too the need of the hour
Pakistan can find its identity against Indias background, else it gets lost as it can not relate itself to any nation or culture. It is a myth that Islamic nations find a common identity. These things happen if there are only two or three nations following Islamic principles. But the fact is that there are dime a dozen nations that follow Islamic principles.
You and your party also find your identity against the background of Pakistan. If Pakistan does not exist you have no identity and can not relate to anything more productive or thoughtful.
It is like a rat race; even if you win the race in the end still you are a rat! Keep that in mind and having come a long way since partition detach yourself from this mindset and see how you can find your identity by yourself.
Pakistan being a failed state having this kind of mindset is understandable; but what about you? You are so successful and so big, yet you keep comparing yourself with Pak! A mature nation like yours should think beyond and only in that fashion you can grow.
In future Pakistan may exist in its present form or may not but unless you change your mindset it impedes your growth.
Just think for a moment! You are lucky! For almost 4-5 decades India was ruled by a single party and only people from UP and Bihar ruled the entire nation. Fortunately, it was South despite getting the second grade treatment progressed and UP Bihar fallen backwards. If it is other way India been 2 nation
Agree with the first part - pakistan a failed state and all. Now why are we pondering what happened 50 years before. Right now, we are fortunate to be blessed with democratic governance, higher % of educated youth, good-economy. west is the prime reason we are having a economic boom. We are not riding it the right way. our stock market boom is not an indicator of the economy. it's controlled by rascal businness people who give two craps to the country. 5 scrips control 70% of the market. Forget pakistan, bangladesh. They don't help you in anyway except to fuel your anger. Build infrastructure, create more jobs, fund research. make people of india realise how working as a community will further individual interests. India is not advancing for one reason. cultural diversity. it's good to look at. but doesn't work when it comes to thinking as one nation. USA is a super power for one reason. they have people migrated from every nook and corner of the world but everyone strives towards one goal. making life better for each other. every policy in US is directed toward reaching this goal. to make indians people realise the importance of this will be the biggest achievement towards success. culture should be a personal thing that should not encroach into country's interests. but we judge a person based on his religion, north/south, black/white, state. so many layers of subjectivity. this generation is marching towards universal brotherhood. the next generation will surely shed cultur

contd... the next generation will surely shed cultural misapprehensions and be more united to a common cause of furthering national interests.
Good piece but now let's close this chapter on history and honor and move on to basic day-to-day issues. Let's try to understand the pain of the farmers, of those who lost their lands to SEZs. Let's try to address environmental degradation, loss of habitat, vehicular pollution. Buried under rhetoric are real issues, let's apply brilliant minds like yours to those real life issues. Too much of history is nauseating for the Indian common man.
