pot calling the kettle black
by Serpicus on Nov 06, 2007 01:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

true, pakistan is a failed state. The kind of people that live there and their lack of reason would leave that as no surprise.
But if we look at India, we see that India succeeds only when RSS,VHP, and BJP leaning ideologies are left out of mainstream society to the remote finges of society's extremist pariah.
When such hindu extremist ideas, and the complete lack of common sense therein, are brought into play, we see India degenerating into the same kind of chaos that Pakistan is in - the 1992 riots and the subsequent bomb blasts, as well as the Gujarat and Godhra carnages are only the most recent examples of extremist inspired madness that emulated Pakistan regardless of the angle from which we look at it. If such madness were to continue in an RSS Utopia India wouldn't be much better off than Pakistan.
Indeed India's moderation is the main reason and case for it's prosperity - a prosperity we see being placed in peril each time madmen from hindu extremist groups like the RSS try to turn India into another Pakistan with their brand of hindu Jihadiism.

Well I am a South Indian, non-muslim and I don't feel that I have anything in common culturally with people belonging to the Jihad lands Pakistan and Bangladesh.

you don't even have much in common with your hindu neighbours to the north.
nothing wrong with that, though - since there is no "typical" Indian. This is the diversity that characterizes india.

I agree with you my fellow south Indian. The only golden rope that helds us together to our countrymen to the north is our ancient and glorious Hindu ethos and culture. If that's non existent, there is not a semblance of hope of staying with one identity with the North. All you pseudo northies (those who pride themselves being these great northies only and look down on their religion and hindu legacy) and who carefully don't take note of this fact, will certainly regret it heavily one day. Stop glorifying yourselves by your northie affliliations with Pakis etc.. and start paying proper respect to your fellow southerners and that you will do only when you value your religion more than your silly northie egos. Otherwise you will regret all your superciliious treatment of South Indians one day very dearly indeed. I as a south Indian love and respect my fellow countryman from the north only first because I have a connection of hindu legacy with him and not for any other reason. Mark my words. If you ignore that and look down upon southerners and kiss the asses of Pakis etc.. to fuel your northie egos, you will regret heavily the day when you have to pay a heavy price in the form of the secession of the entire prosperous powerful and glorious seat of the glorious Hindu civilization. SOUTH INDIA !!!

"The hate, which in the name of a faith separated the worldview and turned twins into deadly foes, is now pointing the gun at their neck. We call it the Bhasmasur syndrome -- the demon that turns against its own."

enuff is enuff.. we do not need to be pakistan centric any more. it was good that pakistan was created and as a result perpetrators of hatred were driven out of India.

a cancerous part is better shrugged off.

and I hope indian muslims should be proud of the choice they made 60 yrs ago.

hindustan is great

Hey friend... I think you are right. But the message delivered is that extremism can result in nation's collapse and we as a generation need to ensure that we do not tolerate such extremism in India, otherwise who knows we get to see another cancerous tumor developing in India.
