What happened when Hindus and Muslims were working togother
by balaord on Nov 06, 2007 07:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Hindu mathematics which Arab muslims learnt and further enriched was the one which took Europe out of its dark ages.
George Sarton told the muslim world was the bridge between India and the west , through which the world learnt modern science.
Hate mongers and sadistic morons dont understand this.

Most of those great work were done NOT BY ARAB MUSLIMS. But by non-Arab Muslims.

Baghdad was the intellectual capital, which was NOT an Arab capital.

Read the history again.

For example, Was Rumi an Arab? Nope.

Tathagata Mukherjee where Rumi is a rab or not is not the issue.
many muslim scholors such as Alkindi learnt the mathematics of Bhaskara and Aryabhatta who are Hindus.
The question is why cant we do the same.
I know Tathagata Mukherjee has become addicted to hate , that you feel it is part of life?
Tathagata Mukherjee - have you ever been outside of India to see how people are enjoying the world?

AREY YAAR, IT WAS BAGHDAD WHICH WAS INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL OF THE WORLD THEN WHERE MOST OF THE BLENDING WORK WAS DONE.

THAT DYNASTY WHICH RULED BAGHDAD THEN WAS NOT AN ARAB DYNASTY.

READ ISLAM'S HISTORY AGAIN.

DON;T TRY TO FOOL PEOPLE..

ISLAM WAS AN ARAB FAITH INITIALLY...BUT IT REACHED ITS GREAT HEIGHT WHERE NON-ARABS CONTRIBUTED HUGELY.

I AM NOT SPREADING HATE ABOUT ISLAM......ITS YOU WHO HAS CONFUSED ISLAM WITH ARABISM.......

All the religions are here to stay. There is no religion in this world which will be wiped off in the next thousand years. So learn to live in harmony rather than spreading hate. Like it or not by the time I write this message the population of India will increase by a couple of hundred out of which some will be hindus some will be muslims and some will be christians. Religions are growing and they will keep growing for ever. So instead of spreading hate learn to live happily. There is only one life dont waste it with a hate filled sorrow mindset.

As long as Islam does NOT claim superiority over other religion(s), its fine.

As soon as it starts claiming it, which is the way most Muslims believe, it becomes a racist, bigoted ideology.

Pakistan is a classic case of negative focus. They are their own worst enemy. They carry intolerance like no other. All Kashmiries, please wake up before it is too late.

Because of these imbeciles, the world is mired in a rut. That the weapons of mass destructions can fall in their arms is enough for others to look backwards all the time.

I have interacted with Pakistanis, who are like you and me, with a positive attitude though religious, at least for others consumption. Back home, they carry their beliefs to such an extent that many seem to have not only suicidal tendencies, but want to get to heaven by killing others, mostly innocents. I am reminded of muslim friend from another country, who I tease often. One day he said whether all the praying will land him up in heaven, where he will be faced with only more prayers. The funny people would land up in hell to have more fun.

The moral of the story, let us take all these religions not too much to heart to become fanatics and intolerant of others. Correct me if I am wrong, has anybody seen God? As far as I know our many Gods are in existence only during the last few thousand years, but humans for may be million years. Our concept of God is limited to our imagination only. I have seen many atheists, who carry on life to help others in need in this life, as they have no belief in reaching heaven or hell.

Our world will be so much better if we have give and take. Live & let live! Om Shanti!

Even after partition pakistan never tried to become democratic state, pakistan always believe on war culture.
