There was a Jinnah tower in Guntur , AP., India...... I wondered what was wrong with the Gunturians. I even mused it could be claimed as a Paki monument and be guarded and maintained by them.
Indians show some kind of stupendous character of big- hearted- ness. How about a Mahatma Gandhi Marg, in Lahore or Karachi ???........ It will show that there are people like Indians in the rest of the world too !!!
May be Hinduism preaches international brotherhood.....But it does'nt mean that there are no Indians who can be eternalised by naming the streets and roads like Aurangazeb Marg and Aurangabad etc., ....It is a pity. Where are the lovers of India ???
RE:Arun Bhauguna ....you are Right. Indianization of alien nomenclature.

Indians by naming such things are showing they are a** lickers.....
Tarun Vijay Sahab, Please note that having a road after Aurangzeb in Delhi is the worst kind of psychological torture, humiliation and attack on the self respect of we all Indians in general and Hindus in particular. What is secular or magnanimous in eulogising or keeping alive memories of a tyrant and religious fanatic, who can be called the original terrorist of India by naming a main road of the capital of our country after him? Aurangzeb not only killed thosands of Hindus and Sikhs,he terrorised those Muslims also who were humane like his own brother Dara Shikoh (and ultimately killed him).We do not know who got this sick idea of naming the road after him,but it is certainly a monument to self humiliation, non-self respect and utter ignorance of history for all Hindus. It is not making any Indian proud. The sooner this historical blunder is corrected the better for all of us. We are surprised that it did not occur to even BJP that this correction should have been done in one hour.Is no shame left in our leaders? What to talk of Pakistan, even in our own Hindustan, how many roads and monuments have been named after Dara Shikoh? So Tarun ji, it is not a sign of our greatness that there is a Aurangzeb Road in Delhi, it is rather a sign of our lack of self respect, inferiority complex and 'bujdili'.Please take this issue up even now with the Congrss Govt. and the BJP. Regards.
Just think what our beloved Bapuji- father of present day India would have done if he were alive now.
Our beloved Mohammedan brothers are facing some problem. Hence it would be appropriate to give atleast Rs.55 trillion to our beloved younger brothers's country- Pakistan.
All those who are agitating against General Musharraf can be asked to come to India. They can be given a monthly honorarium of Rs.10lakhs. Then they can be unanimously elected to Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This small act will be accepatable to General Musharraf and his detractors. If necessary Nawaz Shariff can be asked to be the President of India and Benazir Bhutto can be the PM of India. Her husband can be the finance minister too.
All our secular politicians will wholeheartedly support this move. This will prve to the worl that we're truly secular.
We are INDIANS FIRST. There is no need to love and hug Pakistanis. Yes, we want peace with Pakistan, but LET US KNOW FORGET WE ARE A SECULAR, DEMOCRATIC NATION OF MUCH MORE DIVERSITY THAN PAKISTAN. WE INDIANS ARE CAPABLE OF PROGRESSING ON OUR OWN. WE DON'T NEED TO HUG THOSE THAT BELIEVE THAT WE ARE KAFIRS.
We would love to see pakistan divided into sindh, punjab, nwfp, kohistan, baluchistan, waziristan, azad kashmir, sindhudesh, because only if this happens will our own secularism strengthen
such emotional/eutopian writings has no place in reality. The author seems to be bitten by senti bug. Lets not repeat mistake once Pt. Nehru did. Hindia-chini bhai bhai/pachasheel------ blah/blah
Let us forget and ignore Pakistan. We have had enough trouble with them anyway. We should be ready however to smash them if they attack us. Beyond that we should get on with developing and making our nation rich and just.
Fanatics cant listen to reason, Jinnah didnt listen the current people also cant understand whats going wrong. Under the name of Islam thousands of people have been killed for past 800-900 years and we still find people in denial mode, not just the Muslims our secular parties deny anything like this happened these same parties acknowledge reservations based on caste though claiming that there was injustice in past. This article shows honesty and common sense but how will fanatics "listen" to it ? they cant thats why they are called "fanatics". Frankly it makes common sense to have a united India and no other separate religion based state. Pakistan was a mistake that needs to be corrected soon.

You are not correct. We , Indians have suffered lot to achieve this. Let us be be firmly grounded and head exactly above shoulders. Remember Mush was to use Nuk Missile during KARGIL.
