HAHAHA So many messages!!!! for what? For nothing. Nothing has changed in Pakistan. There was no democracy in Pakistan anyways. This would have been big news if Musharraf had dismissed a government and taken over. But he was in power and he will be in power. Nothing has changed. And anyways this this not the first time emergency has been imposed in Pakistan. Musharraf has half a million strong army equipped with modern weapons and even nukes. I cannot believe that he has any threat from a handful of jihadis but as long as he can scare the west by these extremists, he will remain in power and keep getting billions of dollars in military aid.
HE CLEARLY SAID THAT THE KIND OF DEMOCRACY THAT IS IN PRACTICE IN US, UK, OR NEIGHBOUTS(HE WAS ASHAMED TO SAY INDIA) IS NOT POSSIBLE IN PAKISTAN WHERE PEOPLE OR INHUMAN IN NATURE AND TALIBANIZATION IS IN PLACE AND BARBARIC. SO LET US NOT MUCH PANIC ABOUT IT BUT WE WORRIED ABOUT WOMAN IN PAKISTAN WHOSE SECURITY IS AT STAKE COZ OF THIS.

In that matter, all paki rulers are same.. their job is to make Indians worry.. its in the upbring, from the birth they are tought to hate and trouble India.. but good that Mush accept that democracy can not be implemented in pak(which every one else know).. atlast he is becoming intelligent.. wish Paki brothers and sisters all the best.. feel sad for the future generation of Pak.
This is a non trivial matter for all others. Specially the neighbours, we may have a tough time till the instability last in Pak, it may indirectly or directly affect us in all ways.
So India should be very very watchful and attentive of whats happening across the borders n be ready for eventualties that may pull India/Kashmir factor into account...

Last time when Martial law happened, Zia ul Haq islamisized every institution in Pakistan. India ended up paying the price. I hope this time it is just emergency and normaly(howsoever facade) is restored. Stable and prosperous pakistan is in India`s better interest.

Muslims have been Major Generals and Lt. Generals. They will become chief soon if they fulfil the criteria, Remember Sikhs & Parsis have been Armed Forces Chiefs!
What Muslims can not become is priest in Hindu temple! (They are most welcome to, after converting of course)

Rana Bhagwandas was Chief justice of pakistan in march-july 2007. One Catholic Christian Corneulis was chief justice in1960-68. So Pakistan also has Chief Justice from other religeons

Please note pakistan is not a secular country. It is clearly mentioned in their constitution that it is a muslim country. All other religious groups have second preference in that country. So you can not compare India and Pakistan. It is just like you are asking power for Christians in UAE !!
