Any alliance arrived after the poll should be signed by both parties in the presence of the Governor. Any such alliance should be for the complete term of the assembly or parliament. The party or the independent MLAs/MPs who violate such agreement should be barred from contesting any more elections.. The party which causes a downfall of a govt and interim poll should bear the cost of the election.

Dear Mr Nikhil, Muslims paying for HUJ and Hindu paying for Kailas sarovar dates back to time when sonia gandhi was involved in politics. It looks as if you dont have any issue. regards

Your BJP was also in power in Centre for almost 6 years, why they have not banned such special privileges to Huj pilgrims? When any party get power, whether it is BJP, Congress or CPM, they will simply forget their basic ideologies. If BJP is having that much hatred against Muslims, why its leaders arrange Iftar party? Even now BJP leaders participate in Iftar parties? Before becoming PM, Vajpayee used to go to the Iftar party of Delhi Imam and shared chicken, beef and drinks with him. So all politicians want the support of muslims. Since BJP is not in power at the Centre, the leaders are silent. If they come back again in power, they will start licking the muslim leaders' feet.
1. Voters did not vote for a party with absolute majority. 2. Dirty politics of Gowda & Co. to remain in power and screw as much as possible. 3. Shameless BJP still dreams to come to power with the help of yestermonths betrayor JD(S). 4. Cong. is delaying decision deliberately sensing some miracle to happen for them to grab power.
Who will suffer in the long run is the people. They sholuld learn a lesson that a fractured mandate is not in the true spirit of democracy.

Dear Mr Saint, Even after people commit the four blunders., they have no other option but to vote for the same dirty gowda or shameless bjp. regards
It is surprising why BJP so give prominence form the govt with gowda who power , muscle, and money hunger. better to go people and get fresh mandate so that neither the centre govt nor gowda do nothing. there are crores of people in karnataka to help BJP to form the govt. even by hook or cook if they formed the govt Gowda will never allow to do bussiness.

Dear Mr Nagaraj, The bjp in its quest to rule the south state is so desperate that they are ready to take the support of congress and rule. regards
In 1985, Supreme court of India gave a judgement in favour of a Muslim divorcee Shah Banu that her husband should give alimony to her. Muslim fundamentalists in India treated it as an encroachment in Muslim Personal Law and protested against it. Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, agreed to their demands and cited the gesture as an example of "secularism". In 1986, the Congress (I) party, which had an absolute majority in Parliament at the time, passed an act that nullified the Supreme Court's judgment in the Shah Bano case. The Shah Bano case generated tremendous heat in India. It proved that fundamentalist minorities can exert pressure on government and judicial decisions. The mainstream media disapproved of the decision. The opposition reacted strongly against the Congress party's policies (which, according to BJP, reflect "Pseudo-secularism".)
The case has led to Muslim women receiving a large, one-time payment from their husbands during the period of iddat, instead of a maximum monthly payment of 500 Rs (around 10 US dollars per month) - an upper limit which has since been removed. Cases of women getting lump sum payments for lifetime maintenance are becoming common.

Hdk has been un-certain for the issue, BJP must not consider their terms and should not form govt with such party which has no morale and polylitical ethics. Mayawati did same thing with Kalyan Singh on six month agreement. BJP must learn atleast with past and recent exp.UBTiwari Raipur
its shame on BJP who saught like a hunger of power. they should not join hands when they had tasted cheating from JDS leaders. Now imposition of some condition... what will b after formation of Govt., may be they will ask for some other condition. The result will be good work of govt. will be in JDS acct. and defamation will b on BJP acct who may suffer in upcoming parliamentry election.

Time and again Deve Gowda & Sons have prooved only one point - they are Political Black Mailers. They do not have any ethics, morality, righteousness in Political life. All their "Cheating Acts" they consider as "Chanakya Neethi". After seeing so many "ditchings" of Deve Gowda & Sons, BJP should consider going to polls instead of joining hand with Gowdas.Even if Yeddi becomes CM, Gowda and Sons will ensure that, that Government will not last long. On one or other pretext they will pull down the Government.

MR Nikhil you seem to be a BJP leader,s illegitimate child thts the reason you want ur dad YEDDY to be chief minister ur postings are illogical and sheer non sense why do you drag sonia in the picture
While I do not belong to any political party, I was aghast by the way the Karnataka assembly collapsed when Gowda and his son showed true colours by betraying the coalition partner and now putting conditions to make matters worse.
Instead of sacrificing your esteem by bending for all the conditions laid down by Gowda which he has created for their own benefits, BJP, please go for fresh elections and seek the mandate. That way only you can do justice to the people of Karnataka and save that state.
Once up on a time, I used to be a staunch supporter of BJP. Now, like all other political parties of this country, BJP is also blowing the horn of it's downfall.
You politicians do whatever you want..... Now, we common people's belief and confidence is only in God, and God alone. There is no doubt.... ANOTHER AVATAR WILL CERTAINLY EMERGE !!!

Many say they don't like politics because it is rotten. But, if you have to clean the system, you need to promise folks how you are going to clean it and still get into the rot to clean in.

Infact when BJP ruled the country under the great Vajpayji BJP turned Impotent not to blame Vajpayeji it is the other leaders like Narendra modi Uma bharathi and other allies specially like TDP has tarnished the image of BJP. If BJP wins absolute majority in state polls are central polls then only BJP should form governament on their own

The commonmen of this country are fools. they do not think beyond their current interests. So they are divided into many groups, parties and communities, which always think about themselves and never for the country. So this is very difficult that a single party will get majority on its own.
It is unfortunate to have a leader like Gowda in Karnataka. We are ashamed of his action and behaviour.BJP should have self respect and if required to go to polls instead of accepting the conditions of Gowda. Do not trust Gowda any more,Please see and encash the situation and ground Gowda and his sons down to the earth. We kannadigas ashamed of his behaviour. All should be ready for a fresh mandate from people.

It appears that there is no such thing called "Self respect" in politics. BJP seems to be desperate and willing to compromise on everything for the sake of power. Remember Sharad Pawar's opposition to Sonia? The same guy is now a minister in the current govt. Don't be too surprised if he merges NCP in to Congress some time and starts saying that Sonia is the supreme leader!
