friends, the malady is in the system, every tom, dick and harry and idiot and lunatic starts a party. They have some followers, cheats many with rhetorics and buys a few more voters. There is unhealthy and meaning less compettion that invariably results in a mandate that is widely split. There is good and bad in every person and an elected MLA or MP is all the more no exception to the Rule. Even a few of those who are more good have no option but to jump into the puddle of mud and come up with power. All this the good man has to do to, strictly speaking, to do good to the public in general. These are all, looked at in tandem, impossible conditions. The so called fathers and god fathers and grandfathers of our nation have thrust this system on the public. The solution is to restrict the origination of parties which is not possible in the present system. The only viable alternative is to overhaul the entire system and to go for Presedential form of Democracy. To realise it there have to agitations of like minded through out the country.

Shameless Creatures
by lambodar mishra on Nov 03, 2007 02:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

simply do not comprehend how shameless a Former Prime Minister can be? He is not acting like a statesman but a petty Sarpanch out to do dirty street politics. Even I wonder to what extent BJP is going to swallow its pride. Obviously Congress is amused being in the sidelines. The Karnatak Natak reminds one the great old saying of Hobbes, the Greatest Individualist thinkers of all time, "The will to get money and power is never ending and seizes only in death." But I suppose this rascal called Gowda will long power even after his death and he can be aptly called a POWERBHOOT.

I fully agree with Lambodar Mishra. Bjp should stand up and say sorry if JD(S) insists on the 12 sutras.
It is purely to protect their family that these are being worked out.
But BJP being another shameless party out to grab power by hook or crook, will surrender and accept all the conditions. Wait and watch.

BJP You make us Puke
by Mohan on Nov 03, 2007 02:08 PM  Permalink

Can it go any lower than this. A National party is being given conditions by a regional party after back stabbing them and they are being discussed. Karnataka people, do not vote for either of these parties, even making your vote invalid is better than voting for these scums. Yuk...
