I agree with what Mr. Karat said that US is playing games. But he is forgetting that China is also plyaing its own game at international level. Nepal, Burma, Indonesia, Pakistan and many countries are virtually under China's control. We have to remember a fact that there are two types of powers, Communist/Socialists and Capitalist at international level. We as India will have to make a choice, we cannot be neutral all the time and keep swinging from time to time. To become a Developed country we need to have value of our word at International Level.
We have to make choice which side we want to take Communist/Socialist or Capitalist... Both have their benefits and disadvantages... we need to decide which is more benefitial for people of India.
History has proved that a Democratic society cannot afford to be a Socialist/Communist its a toxic combination where authoritarian powers decides the fate of nation. We as a democratic country will have to be capitalist, will have to fight negatives of capitalism and grow equally simultaneously. If US wants to take benefit of huge Indian market, talent and power then it is US who is in need of us and not we. It depends on our politicians how much they lean towards US in our foreign policy and how much dependent they make our country to US. US is good to keep a company to get benefits at international level and it is same to keep some distance also to protect the Indian Society from ills of US.
There are millions of Indians in US and in China there are virtually none. If this idiot is against US,is he against Indians and rather supports Chinese ? This is just crazy, man. No wonder the commies are considered weirdos. Look how they messed up USSR. They worry more about their policies and communism even if it cost the lives of their children. Shame on them.

Commies always protect their leaders. They brain wash some idiots for criminal activities and the leaders live in a/c rooms. We should have commie convention in a remote place with all their leaders attending and test our nuclear bomb...
Just wait till we get a viable opposition in Bengal and you would see what the people want! It is our poor luck that the only opposition we have is an insane woman.

Even that insane woman would be many times better than these anti-national commies traitors.

Shyam Bander..How u call them traitor..If they support China u support USA(for argument sake)but the fact is these two philosphies arn't just right ...we need some thing in between..If u see the whole world we hv more people suffering than happiness..
This is so surprising, an Indian opposing India's growth. I seriously think he is funded by the Chinese government to do all this nonsense. He is a parasite who should be nipped to the bud ASAP. This is so henious, regional parties like CPM are making a mockery of democracy for their selfish ulterior motive of gaining popularity. I think parties like this should be banned and people like Karat should be put behind bars for such a shameful act.

dude..what the hell did PM do wrong?...don't u understand how it works? Its a coalition - that's the way the constitution was written. He needs an impractical (2/3rds I think) majority to get anything done in LS. Yet, he's doing his best. Don't talk like an ignorant ass or nobody will take you seriously.

All these parties should stop thinking about power and money for their party and themseleves. THINK ABOUT THE COUNTRY...
Now these stupid commies are challenging the Indian public. It is high time for Indians to show them where they should be.... in China. Kick these idiots out of India, they are the worst terrorists we can have and they are destroying our future generations. These things can't happen in any other country other than India, not even pakistan.
He always talks about China and its interests. If we carefully analyze his statements, we would understand that, he is not at all bothered about India. Isn't it a serious crime for a person, holding the post of GS for a lading political party? His statments are unbecoming of person holding responsible position. I just wonder, if they are good enough to loadge a PIL against him? Any comments from the laywers??

Why don't u set up some kind of site and get enough people to sign on it? I think this warrants it. This is becoming a mockery of constitutional machinery. Coalitions are defintely not the way to go in the future. I think the single largest party has to be given the authority to pass bills and move on by an amendment to the Constitution when 2/3rd majority is not achievable...50% majority works as well I think. It has to be re-worked.
This explains why I have always wondered Bengal which was the most developed region in India during pre independence era and produced some of the brightest intellectuals in the country is now one of the poorest states, almost on level with Bihar. It's because of these loonies and their ridiculous policies that has made the state so backward. How the mighty have fallen. I hope atleast now the Bengalis and the Keralites wake up and vote them out of power or else they will take the country back to the stone ages instead of making it a super power.

That's too much man. Come on, you can't compare Bengal with Bihar. It has not become that worse. Infact for last 2-3 yrs it's development rate has been among the top 6 states in India

At least Keralites give an equal opportunity to the right wing every alternate term. In that we are impartial :P

answer is simple.. misrule of commies and discrimination by central govts of cong & bjp. During pre-independence period Britishers were less impartial
