You may like it or dislike it, in Indian parliamnet, there will always be 40-50 MPs from left. The party is such a strong presence at grass root level in WB&Kerala, 45-50 is not going to change much in near future. And neither Congress nor BJP can have single majority in LS,so the fact remains thate these 45-50 members would keep on playing influencial role in Indian Politics.Had Congress got the single majority, they wd have never liked to see left as their ally.Ironically,Mr.Prkash Karat, is working against the interests of Bengal. Bengal's growth prospect is more if the state govt. is in the good book of centre. Naturaaly, Buddha and the the liberal wing of CPIM, don't support PK's anti-centre/ anti- Manmohan attitude. Party discipline, however stop them to openly oppose Karat and his stubborn stances. PK is one who derives strength from the CPIM's support in WB, still, works against the interest of WB. I also agree that karat has more loyality to China than India. And China, by any stetch of imagination, can't think of helping/allowing India to grow,History shows that China drectly/indirectly always works against India. Prakash-Brinda Karats' are thus the traitors,neither do they care for the country, nor for the people for whom (read WB) he is able flex his muscle. They only way out is to sideline/ban his kind of guys from active politics in India. I am not sure, if CPIM would do that.If done so, he won't able win election by his own coz he doesn't have any mass base.

simple solution is there. cong should stop discriminating Bengal, invest heavily there for development of roads, railways, airports, industries, educations, jobs, health, etc. Developed Bengal will not vote for CPM and problem will be solved. But I know cong will not do so bcoz cong hates Bengalis since the days of Gandhi / Nehru bcoz of their animosity towards Subhas Bose. And bjp will only try to forcibly impose Hindi & north indian culture killing Bengali culture and tradition which will not be accepted by general Bengalis. Unless Indians change their attitude of hatred towards Bengalis and respects them as equally important Indians things will not improve.
What is the their soultion to generate jobs,improve economy. Keeping backward people backward and giving them 2 RS free lunch in the name of socialism,is a criminal tactic of cpm to keep indians backward and dependent on local feudal politicians. Bengalis and keralites cpm politicians are big landlords and half their kin are abroad. . USA has its bad points,but this kind of non pragmatism and blind hatred for success and economic development is no use.

Now we know why they oppose the Indo-US nuclear deal. These people are least bothered about our national developement. More than our country they are bothered about China. These people should be throw out of our country. Congress should go ahead with the nuclear deal. Let the CPI-CPM withdraw support other parties and independents will support if congress win their confidence and they can sail thru.
