Same thing said by Laloo about his defeat!!
by Gautam Sinha on May 11, 2007 05:38 PM  Permalink

Ha ha ha , Mulayam and Laloo are saying the same thing about EC!! They can never accept rejection in a free and fair election. And see the statement Cong and BJP firing via EC -- BJP itself is under EC fire. Loser Mulayam has been rejected. Trying stupid policies like saying SIMI is not anti national and so forth may be politically correct to say but other UP citizens know ground reality. Just the impact of such things in a state where law and order is the key issue can be seen- the UP ites kicked him out. Long live Mayawati who has the mandate despite the criminalization by Mulayam's goons.

First of all I will congratulate Madam Mayavathi. If She governs UP in proper manner, she will be our future PM candidate.

That is only your wishful thinking , Mr Sunil. Let her govern the state, for a while, and then you can analyze the situation, and come out with a statement like endorsing her as a PM. Mayavathi ruled UP for three times, though short tenure and she could not make any impact.

In any case I too congratulate her for this achievement. But unfortunately she is the other side of SP.

cadre led parties live long and grow bigger though they might face losses on their way
by chaitanya kumar on May 11, 2007 05:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP should create new leadership in UP to make a dent in the coming general or the next state assembly elections. It should work from now. Congress has no life remaining in the state and BJP can work for long term strategy. BSP and SP are individual led parties and will have to rot someday. BJP is strong cadre led party with grass root base created with strenous efforts for the past 70 years and it's strength is it's organisation like communist parties.

BJP has been wiped out. It has not won even 50 seats. This is a very clear vote against the chaddi policies of BJP. That day is not far when people will kick them out of the country if they dont give up their hate agenda and start behaving like humans.

cadre led parties don't get wiped out because of fluctuations and tirbulations that change everyday. They might face losses for sometime, but their strength will keep growing in a long term perspective. That's sheer politics of growth. BSP/SP/DMK etc, are family led parties. They don't live long.

For BJP to make a comeback they should become a secular party taking with them all the people. Thir hatred towards muslims community should be stopped forthwith at the first place, put a full stop to moral policing, and above all dadagiri in the states ruled by them by Bajrangi, and other Hindu fundamentalist. They should make an earnest beginning in this direction if they want to come back to power. They should control their so called custodians and guardians of the party.

BJP has recently own in Punjab, Utaranchal, Delhi. They can win in many other states if election is held today defeating your dearest parties. Local issues/ comibination factor is important in every state. So do not dream. Keep you hate agenda with you.

UP
by Reji A on May 11, 2007 05:34 PM  Permalink

People have no choice. They are wither in the frying pan or the fire.

States like Bihar and UP have not progressed inspite of independance 60 yrs back.

People need to be good first.
