The Brahmins and other upper castes voted tactically and deefeated Mulayam-the favourite of muslims. Mulayam and muslims calculated that Brahmins and other upper castes will caste their votes for BJP and Congress and mulayam will romp home with votes from yaadav and muslims. But what a surprise! This time its mayawati...next time it may be mulayam singh, Kalyan Singh,Rajnath Singh or any other leader ( goons in disguise).. thankx to our democracy, where voter are so ignorent about the power they have.. Every time its cast...religion..or any other drama influence them to vote.. and this patternt is quite predictble and our political leaders are aware of this.... thats why no political party is ready to work for the common people or for the intrests of our nation. The need of the hour is that "right to vote" should be defined in clear terms.. everybody should not be allowed to vote... (1)people who donot know their responsibilities towards their mother land should not be given voting rights atleast for state assembly and parliamentray elections. (2)We need 2 spread education n awareness among our people and once they r able to think at their own than only full voting right should be given to them. (3) People who r having more than 2 childern should deprived of voting right...this will automatically lead to end of vote bank politics.
But its democracy...anyways...congratulation to mayawati....better luck next time mulayam singh

Hello, You have rightly said that voting right should be on selective basis.Most of the illiterates pledge their vote for 5 years for a beer bottle and a biriyani pocket distributed during the day of voting.Since they are at large,only their reps win the elections.There is mass appeal that educated should vote .If this be the case,What is the use?
She has the clear mandate to bring social and economic reforms to UP as she will be a CM for five year term. She needs to respect the people's verdict and take cues from the policies implemented in other parts of India regarding women empowerment and child education. I wish her all the best.

aab tak ki sabse gundi mukhyamantri mayavati hi rahi hain india main, jisne UP ko 25 year piche kar di thi. aab sayed fir se 50 sal piche kar de. mulayam, kalyan and rajnath ne( rajnath ne basically)85 enginnering college kholkar sayed UP main itihas racha tha.aaur yaah wohi mayabati hain jisne chalthe firthe sare institution ko SC/ST institute banakar sabka tala lagwa diya tha. yeh wohi mayabati hain...change ho to swagat hain lekin UP ko barbad karne main is gundi CM ka sabse bara hath hain.

BJP is patriot.U people are comunal.If talk about hindus in hindustan is comunal.Than u people should leave the hisndustan.Because of hindu tolerance u people are surviving. Hindu in pakistan and bangaladesh gone down from 30percent to mere 2percent and mere thounands respectively.Here except hindu all others are enjoying more rights.I think u people should see the neighbour and than comments.Don't allow hindus to loose their temper.

yes while our politcians leave a lot to be desired,only bjp follows a bigoted ideology that says only members of subcontinent religions are true citizens and a bigoted culture that justifies daylight murder oif human beings as "retaliation".(which far right group inthe world do not know such time tested tactic?). No other major party has such institutionalised barbarism which is a long term issue. if bjp supporters stop justifying the barbaric acts of modi and co just because they pander to upper castes, it will certainly be a huge step.RSS and co has no respect for indian democracy.
