Comparison betwenn UP and Gujrat is wrong.However change in Gujrat will bring Congress to power,they are worse than BJP more communal, more corrupt.So in short Gujrat is doomed.

Mr.Bharat Darsan,I accept your first view.But electing a caste based party to weaken the National parties are good?Never compare the Modi govt with the UP!Who ever may be he belongs,he showed how to rule a state even after immense pressure from all quarters to throw him away.He put Gujrat to India's no one Indusrial state!Don't forget that.Please admit facts ,even if you are not really liking it...

of course MODI has ruled with IRON hand the State only he uses fake encounters to fool around the hindus to get their vote. Unfortunately you are one among them.
When fools like you are in high numbers, he can succumb pressure from all sides. Just he needs to make few fake encounters before elections or arrange for a state sponsored terrorism killing, burning , looting and raping.
He is also prompltly helped by ISI and LET in attacking soft targets before elections

Why does chief minister of U.P. need to speak English? Last time I checked it was a Hindi dominated state Mr. Vijay
Being able to speak English doesn't make anyone a better politician or a better administrator.

To be an able Cheif Minister, one does not need to possess any formal academic qualification. What is required is common senses, non-inteference with administration,free from corruption, integrity and a desire to serve the society, sense of far-sighteness. We had Shri Kamaraj as a Cheif Ministger, who had all these qualifities during whose period the Tamil Nadu saw unparlelled progress, ably assisted by Mr R.Venkat Raman, Mr C. Subramanian etc , not to speak of ever co-operative then existing beurocracy. I wish Mayavati took a clue from this. It is good that she does not need to depend upon the Congress Party for her survival in power.

Mayawati has proved that she is modern party by including the pity Brahmins. Bramhims are kicked by BJP first,Congress next,and Mulayam has stopped all doors for jobs,education,etc.

Dear Mr. vijay,
I am not from UP and not supporting any particular political party. Also I am not belong to any Dalit community.
However your words made me to write the following point.
From your words, what you mean to say is "a well spoken", "a well dressed", "a well educated" and "a person who have good english knowledge" can only rule our country. And others dont have right to do that.
The very thinkning of above idea shows in your mind shows that u are very immature.
Please note, the performance is not based on appearance. Please dont judje anyone by appearance.
In democracy, if people elect one particular person, you should accept that gracefully. You should not show your personal religious & caste feelings in it. If you are showing that, then what is the use of claiming that you are educated.

Are you from UP? If not then shut up. No one wants your stupid ideas. What do you know of mayawati? She is a very good administrator. Better than many you named.
BSP is winning because this time she has taken Brahmins along with her. Long time back congress was ruling UP with the help of Brahmins and upper casts, Dalits were the natural supporter of congress because of Babu Jagjivan Ram. The only difference now will be that Dalits will be on the equal or a little higher platform. I only wish that Mayawati runs the party affairs in a democratic way and also disciplines the criminals in the party.
