RE:LONG LIVE INDIAN DEMOCRAZZZZZZZY
by surendra singh on May 11, 2007 11:19 AM  Permalink
Dear
Do u remember taht all such words were used even for LALU also. But he has shown U Rs.20000.00crore of profit.
Let us look into a school dropout whos is now one of the richest person in the world.
Our beloved Late Lal Bahadur Shastri had carried his intro letter in english to the USSR.But that wasn't accepted till the same was produced in HINDI or RUSSIA Language.
It should be your leadership quality,Ur dedication to the people of your state or so,your commitment ,etc works and not Ur good dresses or outfit.
Well, I am not a politician but once upon a time one trade Union leader by name Mr.BAGHARAM TULPULE was made General Manager of DURGAPUR STEEL PLANT and that plant had shown a reall difference in quality and quantity output. This was done during the regime of Late Indira Gandhi.
Well,What I wanted to convey that the attitude of a person makes the difference and not the person alone.
Anyway, let us wait and see the Uttar Pradesh again under the MAYA of MAYAWATI.

hello Bull,
You mean to say tht there is no contribution from WB, MP and Haryana.. they have the chunk of Industries/automobiles/coal fields, oil refineries etc. don't have a biased mind - you need to have a revision of your understandng on India.
My views of democracy is totally in contrast with that of yours. In a large democracy like India, the leaders/government is elected by the common people and not selected. It does not matter who is the MP/Minister etc. The development of a country depends upon the understanding of a ground level situation by the leader whom we elect and not depend upon his/her education, vocabulary or English speaking ability. Once she pledges her service by knowing the common people's need, there are learned, english speaking, economists, IAS officers at his/her command to implement the decisions. Foreign investors or any investments does not depend upon the beauty/look and english speaking ability of a leader/minister...they only evaluate the agenda of the government and ability to administer the state.
In India, from day one of independance, political parties always played with the sentiments of common man to gain votes. Until a couple of decades ago, it was easy for them to garner votes by playing the cards of religion and casts, mainly due to lack of education.

For example, an illiterate politician like Laloo Yadav did not do any good or development for Bihar for almost 15-20 years and was very confident that he is the permanent CM for them -ultimately, people defeated him and installed another government with a sensible CM and the results are seen now. at the same time, when he was shifted to the Railways, on which he has absolutely no knowledge, could do a better job, since he was dependant on the advises provided by the senior officials/IAS officers of the Ministry.
However, as you know, this situation is slowly and steadily changing and people are getting at least the basic education to understand who is good and who is bad - I am not advocating the Mayavati is good or bad - they have a choice among the 4 - so this time they chose to give a chance to Mayavati - now it depends upon her ability to fullfill the commitments given to the voters.

Gundaism has to come to an end one day or the other - you cannot permanently bully people and stay in power.

So don't go by the look and feel of the elected representative - wait and watch how they perform.

Big loss for the people
by sg sg on May 11, 2007 11:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think its te people od UP that loose when they hit themselves on the leg. When they choose people like Mayawati and Mulayam, who have nothing to offer except hatered and cause more splits in society and play the fear sycosis card and blaming some other community for their woes. Where as the stupid comman man does not realize that these parties leaders have become billioners and taking them for a ride. And one guy says that it will be the end of corruption.

I think this time Mayawati had a inclusive agenda compared to just OBC wooing that SP does or Muslim wooing that Congress or Uppercaste wooing that BJP does.

I don't blame the ppl in UP, FOR LACK OF BETTER CHOICE THEY DID WHAT THEY CONSIDERED BEST FOR THEM.

The common man was forced to chose between 3-4 big political parties who have played Musical Chairs in every single election and looted the State for personal profit. They have gotten richer while the ppl are getting poorer.

They need to STOP VOTING in protest.

lets see Manjula.. well my gut feeling is:

1st year: MLAs will spend time infunction.. taking revenge with folks (may be of SP/BJP/INC) in their constituencies..

2nd year : will start thinking of getting money from various ways.. Getting 3-4 parks dedicated to ambedkar

3rd yr : mid term problems.. some MLAs will leave BSP to join SP, make new parties as they were not given portfolios or other parties promise good deal. Again will have to prove majority on floor

4th Year: They will get panic. Less time left for making money.. so instead of making small deals (which started second yr) they will start getting into bigger scams.. Some judging the current situation will start talking to other parties if they can join them.. Parties like SP will get benefitted..
4.5 year: They will get into trouble.. Other parties and their contractual sting reports will find some MLAs involved in scams..

4.75 year: Lots of rallies.. cursing EC and central govt.. Congress if gave support initially will take out support and will say that it will fight of their own.. New promises to people.. Lot of announcements.. like free electricity etc.. coz once dates are declared by EC they cant commit to new promises. and they know public they remember only last 4-5 months things.

4.95 yrs : Election time.. horse trading will start.. lots of stars will be hired to get publicity .. etc..

5 yrs: We will do good for UP give us vote etc.. and After results.. hung assembly.. So horse trading going on.. EC fedup!!

Mr. Nair,

You and your people of Kerala are also stupid. That is why they are electicing communists and the congress alternatively every five-year. Tell me, is communism valid in today's socio-economic condition of the country, especially with regard to Kerala. Communism is for those people who have nothing to lose. But today, everybody has something to lose. so it is not wise to chose communism in today's scenario.

And your allergy to Hinduism. The trauma of partition was experienced by the people of North, especially the people of Border State, whereas down south you people were comfortably resting. Whenever any external agreession took place, people from the north bore maximum. They cannot fortget the past easily and that is why there is a wedge between the two communities.

Babu

by pratik gupta on May 11, 2007 12:48 PM  Permalink
I think as a person nobody should make any comment on people of India specially people of UP. If you thing educated people should be elected in election, then why does educated people who got studied in govt. funded premier institution went to US etc for fulfilling their person goals. If educated fraternity doesnot take initiative to change the society , then they dont have any right to say so on the choice of UP people.
