Political reformer Mayawati
by Ravishankar Kandallu on May 11, 2007 01:14 PM  Permalink

By aligning dalits and upper castes, she created a new vote base that works. Unlike her political contemporaries who pamper minorities.

Let's UNITE people atleast this way

BSP victory
by meenakshi dikshit on May 11, 2007 01:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This shows changing political charcter of BSP from "Tilak ,tarazoo aur talwar inko...." to "Brahmin Shankh bajayega...".This victory has brought through brahmin factor, establishing them as a vote bank again as once it was with congress prior to emergency and with BJP during Ram Mandir Andolan. Off course it is a wave of change in UP politics.
One factor I feel also affected that people think Mayawati only can have a check on Gunda Raj in UP.
no more hung--in UP.

Brahmin will still get Jute Chaar in Maya Raj. You would know when she forms the cabinet.
Only if she comes out of the fear of being overpowered by brahmins she will treat them well.

Yes, Mayawati can become the PM if she gets the support of upper cast Hindus and a mjority of muslims along with solid dalit votes. Because she is the only politician who took the risk of opposing reservation for creamy layer of OBC.

So, Brahmins became Daliths - at least in UP. All brahmins should marry their daughters to Daliths.... good for UP, good for secular Nation!

Too early pandeyji.
It takes a lot to change from "Jute Chaar" mindset.
Very soon you may find SC Mishraji sent packing.
Maya is for 'ekchhatra rajya'. Brahmins poking their nose will be the last thing she wants.
Only if you postrate before her, you survive and njoy.
Ramvir Upadhyaya,Chaudhary of BS4 and many others know it.
