BSP Wins

Now as there is change of guard, everyone expects that the new government of U.P. will fulfill the aspirations of its people and will not be involved in populist measures. It will improve its infrastructure and make its people self reliant so that there is no more large scale migration of people to other state to earn their livelihood. There should be favourable investment oppurtunities for investors to enable the people of the state employment. The inspector Raj should end.The state should become one of the model state of India and we sincerely hope that the days of criminals are numbered. There should be good governance and the administration should be transparent.Come on new U.P. Government the whole country want you to set an example for many many years to come in terms of good infrastructure, efficiency, corruption free and set the trend for developing state to match in terms of International standards to fulfil the aspirations of people.

The expectations are high and the sincereity to work to achieve is very low. Behind the facade of Names and Idologies, all Political parties are all the same.

While Mayawati has indeed shown a remarkable performance, it may not be the same 5 years from now. Simply because expectations are high and abilities/sincereity are non-existant.

Lesson for mandal parties
by ajith kumar on May 11, 2007 01:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Congratulations for all those oc in up for supporting BSP in UP.It is clear that BJP is taking the upper caste vote for granted without doing anything good for them as it is evident from the staunch silent maintained by them about the mandal politics of congress and also gleefully accepting the congress position of not exculding creamy layer from the purview of reservation. It is also cue for the upper caste in all over the country to vote tactically and thereby show to the vote bank avarice political parties that you can make or break the fortune of their party in the hustings as this is the only way of making them interested in your welfare.

Its unfortunate that UP is still hanging with caste based votebank politics. Let it be Mayawati or Mulayam, fate of UP will remain same. Most ashamed thing is congress wants to join Mayawati govt. while the same congress try to bring out all the cases against Mayawati just before the elections to bury her. Good to see that Rahul Gandhi had no influence at all.
