If she acts against the criminals in her own party then she is our hero. If she doesn't then alas India needs to wait for some more time for a leader who is commited to creating a happy Indian nation.

They are all criminal, no body is without a black mark....& we are waiting to see them changed in good human beings...what an irony. The EC, Mayawati & others are not responsible ...but the actual reponsiblity of sending them to power lies with "The Public" - ourselves who have elected them over and over again knowing what they are doing.
To all of them who are bashing Hinduism, especially Rahber Raja and Ruchin Tyagi. Every religion has it's dark period but they grow out of it. They reform. They do not stick to rules that were written hundreds of thousands of years ago. They grow mature with time for the good of the society and the good of the people. We atleast have the courage and honesty to accept that there have been not so nice issues but that we believe in self improvisation unlike this one particular religion which believes it is perfect and that everything else is *. About the Jauhars they were done only when the Hindu warriors went to war with Muslims, not with other Hindu kings. And the reason for that was that their fate would have been much more gruesome and worse had they fallen in the hands of muslims. And this was done only when there was reason to believe that the Hindu warriors were fighting a losing battle (which ofcourse happened rarely). I am not justifying the act but I am trying to show what kind of mentality the Muslim warriors had that the Hindu warriors were forced to restort to these measures. I don't want to give you a lecture on history over here so I'll get to the present and offer some free advice instead. Grow up man! Try and accept diversity. Try and be secular. If you live in a country follow it's civil code. And no one is stopping you from migrating to other countries who let you follow your own Quranic law. If you can't live by the rules of our nation (which are secular and not dictated by our religion) just leave. No one is stopping you. We'd be more than happy to escort you out. Go to those countries, marry a thousand times, wrap your wives in ten thousand folds of cloth, punish them, banish them,(Islam by the way says that the clothes should not be revealing, it does not propagate the concept of burqa), produce another ten thousand kids, cut each other, enjoy your bloodbaths, proclaim that there is no other God than Allah 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Do whatever you want to. No one is stopping you. Don't try and change the system here.

Because he is someone else with a muslim namethats why ghar ka na ghat ka......
Rahber Raja in one of the earlier comments has posted the following evils of Hindu society.. he said..
It is a shame that an attack against Islam is being waged by Hindus when for millenniums, Hinduism is the most oppressive system on record in its treatment of women. From conception to death, woman had to suffer in uncountable ways (details after the basic section) :
Child Marriage - Girls are to be married when 5 years old ! Dowry - Vedas prescribe this pracitice Bride-Burning - if the dowry is insufficient No Property Mass Wife-Burning (Jauhar) - Often 100s are burnt at a time. Widow-Burning (Sati) - Sanctioned by the Vedas, Puranas, practiced by Krishna%u2019s wives, it still continues.
I don't know how much Vedas you have read to make those comments but I know one thing that all of the above evils of society has vanished over the last century..We have made laws to curb those..and the change is rapidly happening as of today...But did you have any change in your society since it was born..thousands of year back..Do you even discuss the change and the evils of your society? And if someone does that he gets a fatwa..Can you give me a time line when you think Islam will allow women to not wear burkha and when this fatwa system wil go? Also, when you'll guys will put law of land before religious laws?
