This was bound to happen anf If congress and parties alike donot mend their ays it is bound to reapeat. More and more communities are going to join it.

I blames congress because it was primarly its responsibility to end this reservation and vote bank politics. bcoz

1. it started it
2. it is oldest party and claims to got independence for india

Dear M. Ashraf, congress is responsible for everything bad that happens, they started corruption and for past 50 years they have been manuplating indians for their own use.

BJP and Sangh people are just learning the ropes of corruption.

And please don't be biased in your opinion as educated indian we should endeavor towards castefree society and minimum representation of religion in politics because religion is something pesonal and should be an issue to be dragged on the streets.

Gujjara in Rajasthan
by my message on May 31, 2007 04:07 PM  Permalink

This is eactly what the Supreme Court meant when it said that people will fight for backward tag. Hope Arjun Singh is listening. A apndoras box is opened from which it will become increasingly difficult to come out.

Gujjars COngress and reservation shit
by Rajeev Kumria on May 31, 2007 03:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There are three issues to it. The larger issue as has been rightly said by many people are fighting for being called backward. being backward is being incentivized by votaries of reservation like the scumbag called Arjun Singh et al. Secondly the hisoric issue Gujjars were brought into political mainstream by Indira Gandhi to cut down the jat dominance. She was the real architect of caste politics. This violence and agitation is casued by COngress who want to get even with BJP. Congress in centre has always used nefarious means to throw out the state govt of other parties. Either through president rule or through other disgusting means. But this will low up in the face of congress as the gujjars in haryana are also agitating and this will create problems for the ruling congress in Haryan which has jat and gujjar problem. Appeasing any one will create problems with others.

The latest reports indicate that the trouble has spread to Haryana and even Delhi. The Congress hhould realise that if the Gujjars are placated, then there will be similar demands frommany other castes. A hornets nest or a pandoras box would be opened.

Be ready for same protest from other casts. Possibly Rajputs, Brahmins or some other else. But surely, this is going to encourage others to protest like this to have benefit.

No reservation
by Rehana on May 31, 2007 03:31 PM  Permalink

In fact there must be no reservation of any kind. The people who are scanned out to be deprived must be give free food, free cloths, free books, school-college fee exempted and such facilities but the competition of any kind must be fair, entrances, appointments must be fair and without any reservations, then only the society can improve. The expenditure on such free facilities must be made out of the money which is being spent on these thug and rogue politicians. The facilities of these politicians must be curtailed.
Gandhiji had envisaged the reservation for only 10 years after independence but Congress for want of votes continued it and now has pushed our country in turmoils.
