U know it better...If your work in any government agency is not done and the complain goes against that government officer for the third time, that officer is accountable for an answer orele he is fired...from his job..that is what u call efficency of Narendrabhai Modi's government....work is moving at fast pace in all government offices...in Gujarat...
i hav seen movies where police officers do encounters in such a way and these movies are liked by masses ...why dont Javed Akhtar go and protest against such movies ... he shd approach all those producers/directors and request them not to make such movies ....but he won;t do that bcos he is earning livelyhood from such movies ...he is bcos of this industry

i want to add some on this....
Mr. Akhtar and his begum Shabana, feel shamed for gujarat / gujarat govt. / gujarat police after gujarat riots in 2002 and recently on terorist encounters and they are talking about law/constitution.... BUT they feel proud to visiting Pakistan where there is NO law/constitution for last 8-9 years...they feel good about Pakistani progress under anti-democratic millitary rule under Musharraf's TANASHAAHI....

Sir, I agree with you. Those criminals should be encountered or else they will kill more people. But in case of Sohrabuddin, I think his wife was not involved in any crime .Why was she killed? And also the police informer. These things worry me.

who told u that his wife was not culprit ...I can't beleive that she din't know a thing about her husband's deeds ...she should come out earlier and told that to Police. In that way, many crimes perpetrated by Sohrabuddin wdn't hav taken place ...but she din't do that ...anybody who knows anything about criminal but is not divulging that to police, he/she is equally dangerous and indirectly a part of crime

Why only non muslims, even muslims with minor difference - Shia vs Sunni, Masjid vs masjid, Iran vs Iraq. Its like a mad dog on the road, it spares only another mad dog. They will not stop till there is no one. Even if there is someone from their own sunni, same masjid, same family, still they will have difference of opinion and kill him too. God has specially invented this religion to make the doomsday prediction mentioned by all religious scriptures, come true. How else can the world come to an end?

Mr.Rafiq Amin, that is very nice to know.If all religions are equal, why do your Muslim and Christian brothers go about converting Hindus? Please do not tell me it is because of the inherent flaws in the Hindu social order. I am already sick and tired of this nonsense. If you say that then Harijans converted to Islam or Christianity should not be seeking concessions under reservation even after conversion, right?

FYI : earlier in May-2007, FBI revealed terrorist plot to attack 'Fort Dix' Air Base , located 3 miles from my house......they arrested 6 ppl., all muslims , lived here in usa for more than 6 years, originated from countries which r US allies in fight against terrorism. They all r well educated , and with good family backgrounds....Still they r doing terrorist activities.....WHY ???

The Koran itself preaches intolerance toward other religions. Sura 5 contains the following command: %u201CTake not Jews and Christians for friends . . . He among you who takes them for friends is one of them . . . Choose not for friends such of those who received the Scripture before you [Jews and Christians] . . But keep your duty to Allah%u201D (verses 51, 55, 57). Extreme intolerance is commanded in Sura 5:33 %u2014 %u201C[For those who do not submit to Allah] their punishment is . . . execution or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet, from the opposite sides, or exile from the land.%u201D
The Koran also expresses an intolerant attitude toward any person who decides to reject the Islamic faith or convert to another religion. Such persons are to be executed (Sura 9:12). In the Hadith (the oral tradition of Muhammad%u2019s sayings) it says %u201CWhoever changes his religion, kill him%u201D (Hadith 9:57). These commands are practiced in all Islamic Fundamentalist countries today.

No religion on this planet teaches kill/punish innocent people. In every holy book there have been instance, where an individual have to take sword for the sake of truth. truth is nothing but god. Thats how it is written in quran. Few people ( I dont even call them muslim) take this verses on wrong note for selfish gains and spoil the name of the religion. To somehow defend their actions that are rooted in the Quran and the Hadith, Muslims counter by pointing to the intolerance and violence that have characterized both Jews and Christians , they point to the Christian Crusades in the Middle Ages. Using these examples, they accuse Jews and Christians of being hypocritical in attacking the in?tolerance and violence of Islam today.
