ayyo RAMA.... your beloved people driven India for 50 years couldnt achieve anything, how can any other Govt. can solve all stagnant problems. They are currently not only bullying for OBC quotas, also taking India towards OBC(Other Backward Country) among other developing nations. Oneway you are right, this OBC quota will only be useful, when there comes a rule and when your beloved party people are treated by such OBC quota Doctors!!!!.... Globally lot of revolution is happening, India need to be self relient to become Developed Country and compete against other developed countries. What about doctors from private medical colleges where students with lower marks join by donation? And how can you talk so ignorantly. A person joining under reservation does not become a doctor by getting less marks. For becoming a doctor he has to score the same minimim marks as for students joining under general quota. You want a political party with the guts to remove disaparity between castes? Well, Resrvations are a way towards doing that. It may not be enough, but at least it's a start.

Mr Mohanty, Reservation cannot remove disparity, only improve economic condition temporarily not the social and mental conditions. I know when I passed my engineering entrance I scored 200 plus out of 300 and friend of mine from reserved category got also selected with -15 (exam use to have negative marking). Even in college most of the reserved catagory people use to pass with huge difficulty and a degree of 4 yrs they use to take easily more then 6 years to pass or sometime fall out. What You need is free education that too from school days so that once you grow up to face competition you can also do it with merit. That will still bring economic development to the people but by doing this way, you will get mental abilities and social recognition as well cause people and society will surely praise your hard efforts. This kind of reservation is eventually very harmful. It will paralyse you for ability and you will be always looking for help. Second the organization which will employ you , will be rotten, just like our Indian Govt organizations, why they finished so fast after OBC reservation came into picture? Because lots of inefficient people came in and it took not even 10 years that govt jobs lost its existence, charm and glory. It actually helped private sector to flourish as all efficient people started to join and now a days people are gettinig very good salaries to live happily by and large. Now govt is doing reservation to IIT/IIms which will reduce their charm and some other private/ abroad institues will come up. It will end at where Govt will not be able to do reservations (lie institute in foreign countries which have already started luring indian students), but in the process inistitutes in india will be rotten and loose their value. Economics and money cannot be controlled by govt and stupid laws. It will find its own ways to flourish and smart people will always move those directions. All SC/ST/BC people should ask for good schooling to become competitive, smart and educated enough, not the jobs. remaining inefficient but still getting jobs will not help in any way. infact it will be yemporary till the organization keeping you will die because of inefficiency of people running it. And who told you that doctors from private college survives in run? they may get admission but to pass medical exam they need to work hard if not they cant pass, if you pass somehow, then you are not a good doctor therefore not popular and at the end nobody comes to your clinic. So process justify the wrongdoing at any stage. Same applies to reservation as well. To me reservation actually helps to those who are brillient. I stopped working hard for IAS exam in 1992 when OBC quota was implemented thinking that with 49.5 % reserved there is no point to prepare for IAS. So I started to look for IT sector as another option. As of today I roamed whole world, settled in Singapore and have all luxaries in my day to day life which I never imagined as a boy. And I know many brillient general catagory students of my time who actually did the same thing and are more happy. Even soem General catagory people who joined IAS etc , later quit to join some multinationals to enjoy more and be more happy in life. You need to be smart and reservation cannot do that to you, in fact it will make you a parasite on govt system , which in itself is so inefficient that ...! To me , intelligent move is to all SC/ST/BC people should kick reservation and ask govt to help them to become equally efficient and smart.

We also do not need capitation fee in education.Only rich facher can give education to his child even if he secure 40%/50% marks where as poor student with 90% marks can not go to higher education. nobody can agree for this who talk against quota system
The place for these old people whether in Congress or BJP or CPI is in their homes with grandsons, not politics. BY the way, how many elections, you fought and won.

Yes, elected prome Minister was sleeping with intelligent reports which lead to Kargil wars. Elected prime Minister could not do anything when Mass killing took place in Gujrat. Elected Prime minister could not do antthing when hard earned money was looted in UTI scam Elected Prime Minister could not do anything when Cetaur Hotel sold at throw away price.

We are in a democratic system, not in Military. Arrange a law, only Harward educated people will run the show in India.What I want to say that Younger generation must be given a chance, and all old people must retire by 50 or 55.
But you people are allowing people like Hassan ali to amass 35000 Crore plus illegally. Where is he these days ? What is happening with him ? How he made all these ? You are giving free land to multi crore business!! Give those benefit to poors. Let them buy the land needed for the business. Infact they can buy the required land. No need to feed people. They will make it. Create a fair system for everything. Try to clean out some evils from society. Take the demolition drive in kerala as an example. Build on it and make this country a heaven on earth
I think people of this countery have alredy given their openion through recent polls held in Maharastra, Punjab Uttaranchal and U.P. We have not seen such a Priminister in this country since the Independence, he has just become a Naukar of Italian lady. It is shame for all of us.

All the governments have been failing in their governanace,which is a result of poor governanace by Cong ,as it has ruled almost for 50 years . However ,record of BJP ,when it came to power was equally bad ,as there were several greedy & corrupt politicians like in Congress. The system is in vicious cycle and can come out of it only, in a case the public is alert.The public awareness should be increased,for which all of us have to work together and choose the best people in public life ( like we have chosen our president APJ Kalam). People have to rise above caste ,creed and region.Then only we can see a good and happy country.

I don't think people voice is reflected in president election. It is pure dirty politics. I think Dr. Kalam is exception. it is luck and compulsion. By luck and self momentum no one can feed 100 Cr. population. If we consider India as an organization, the problem is with the organization structure. So it is better to change the constitution.
Hey OLD man, rewind for 1 week. You will see, there is huge communal violance in Punjab which affected other states too.
You are ruling in Maharashtra and Raj is creating al sorts of troubles in the name of Marathis. If you cannot stop this who is gonna stop this ? This is not just a communal violance its terrorism.

I hve read some msg in this col but i personally feel that some people are just over burning on issue related to past. Past is gone now its future which we shld consider.MR.P.Mukherji is right but cannot its comment be consider as prefect bcoz congress is not able to improve basic infrastructure of nation. although India is globally looked by every country I hve read some articles in economist which thinking abt India only. So which shld see what future hold for us. And one I really concern abt nowadays is that of issues like global warming and enivt prolbem. I think UPA shld think abt that also.
