Munnar and not in AC rooms.Indians will be fortunate to enjoy the real health and happiness with nature only when many more Achuthanandans come.Let us pray for this.
When politics is taken as a mud pool and politcians their inhabitants, in such hopeless situation of Indian politics such CMs and their officers put back the faith of common men in them. He is doing his duty even after being disrupted by opposition and central government, as well as threatening calls from Dawood and underworld. Mafia nexus is very strong and works internationally. Large population of kerala goes to gulf under illegal immigration only due to such active mafias. What Kerala CM is doing with his officers is something to take lesson from to other politicians about their duty and power of wish and will to eradicate bad elements. This is good that one side in Delhi you have got puppet government of Manmohan Singh unable to do and perform anything while on another side you have got CMs like Achutanandan of Kerala, Nitish Kumar of Bihar, Navin Patnaik for Orissa, Chandrababu Naidu for AP, Narendra Modi of Gujrat, CM of WB ...all of who are doing their best for their states and working as a mirror of faith in democracy and good governance for general public. I salute such CMs.
It is too late....south has three big cities already...bangalore,hyderbad,chennai...they all are far ahead in every sphere....cochin or kerala due to its location and people's attitude can not prosper.... The people also should change,In my office I unload the truck with essentials myself and pay the red sirts(loaders) sitting and watching the shows....do you know if you shift your hpise hold to kerala ,you can not unload the household articles.....what a stupid place and people....only outside kerala these guys acts smart...
Rediff has crossed the limit. This is very indicent that rediff published this type of dirty political news. We are viewing rediff that doesn't mean that rediff will publish any news on front. Some days I have been seen that rediff has published unnecessary news on his front. Plz stop it. Rediff want to say that Kerla C.M. is best other is worst.

Hello Pradeep, When something which is admirable and appreciable happens in India, shouldn%u2019t rediff India report that? Or do u think that Kerala is not a place in India? Please change ur attitude. This is a dream coming to true to people who is depressed by current bureaucracy and corruption. Kerala CM is a determined person and when he is practicing what he was preaching when he was in opposition. And this is a really really remarkable thing. More over he is doing this when he is having immense pressure from not only from other political party but also from the leaders in his camp. He is standing for law and justice and others should get inspired from him. You should try to get more about this before making cheap comments like this.

My opinion is that no politicians should be placed on front. He may be the A.P. or Maharashtra or any other state.

Pradeep! your observation itself exposes your biased mind. Why should Rediff not report developmental activities or bold actions of the governments? Why you get irritated by good things? How do you call this indecent? You only want reports of Shilpa Shetty being kissed in public? Or you are not in India?

Yes. Rediff has crossed the limit. What is a great thing that Kerla C.M. is doing good. People have elected him to work. Not for sit. He have to remember. This is not credit for C.M. or for REdiff

This same writer has written worst things about kerala and many other states as well in the past.
Then people have reacted in many ways, guys just be calm, this is not rediff's view, all these views are posted by public.
Of course Kerala CM is puting all efforts to stop the encroachment on GOvt. land not only at Munnar but all over Kerala. Kudos to VS for his effort. But how far these efforts will frutify? His enemies are in his party only waiting for an occassion to backstab him. VS is good man among the bad people. They are not allowing him to perfom and ditch him surely when he needs them. Opposition in Kerala need not do anything to tarnish the image of VS. His own party people will do it, sooner or later. Regarding demolition drive, what I feel is that it will lost momentum or slowdown in the coming days courtesy to the best efforts of vested interests of political parties in Kerala. Just demolition is not enough, how to recover all the encroached Govt. land in Kerala and how to utilise it in a useful way and evoling a mechanism to stop such encroachments in future, irrespective of the political affiliations. Here lies VS's tryst with destiny of Kerala. Welldone VS.

Hi Amen and Pradeep, If you are from outside Kerala, you must be thinking on uninformed lines. But if you are in Kerala and saying this, certainly you shud be an empathizer of the land mafia e Let me tell you that VS is a great person, who has the guts to do things we never thought at all, things we thought would happen only in cinemas, you would have seen that in Good guy politician cinemas. There are people all around in his party, outside his party etc.. who are calling for his head. Luckily the courts and all bureaucrats are standing by him at this time of need. We really dont know how long this will continue, when would poison enter the minds of at least a few. But till then let us sincerely hope that VS go ahead with his drive..
Kerela CM is doing a wonderful job. But I think rediff is biased towards left and congress. Narendra Modi is doing a wonderful job since more than 5-6 years and developed Gujarat in more or less every field. But always they mention about gujarat riots and fack encounter. They will never see a positive side that that state. Don't tell me kerela is different, terrorist activities are going on in Kerela too. But we should always promote and highlight the good things and positive things of any state. Like this article.
Don't take me wrong, I do not support Gujarat riots but I what I want is that positive attitude should previal in terms of bringing forward someone's good deeds, no matter if he is Narendra Modi or Mayawati...
Thre is nothing like that. Any one can blog in rediff and publish their article. Shenoy is more or less based in Kerala (although he shuttles between New Delhi and Kerala frequently) and he has first-hand knowledge about what is happening in Kerala and he wrote it. If someone is there is Gujarat or Rajasthan to highlight their state's achievement, they are also welcome and if the contents of artile is worth reading, it will be published.
If you have indepth knowledge and and categorically make statement, you can do so about Gujarat or for that any other State.

C.M. of Orissa is No. 1. You can't tell KERLA C.M. I think you don't know anything. He is doing a good job in Orissa. Even I.A.S. and Police D.G. are continously supended. He is the most popular c.m. of India.
Have you gone mad. Eery screw and nut on your head seem to be loose.
Nobody is Kerala CM is great. He is doing a great job in the sense that despite resistance within his party and opponents he is going about the task unmindful of what is in store for him.
Let us just appreciate that fact. Nobody is saying he is good on every front. The issue of discussion in the current task he has taken. NOthing more, nothing less. If he continues to perform in all other areas like this, we can say that he is really a performing CM. This is just the beginning.
And about Orissa CM. If he is so good, why Orissa is still lagging behind all other states, perhaps barring Bihar economically? Like Kerala, Orissa is also an under-developed state as far as industry is concerned. This despite the fact that the BEST CM of Orissa has been at the helm of affairs for quite a few years now. Obviously, he seems to be a PERFORMING CM!!!!
