Please do not make baseless statements like this. What TVR says in this article makes sense. Whatever VS Achuthanandan's motives may be, he is the first CM I have ever seen in my state to take such a firm stand on a vexing issue like land grabbing. All Keralites need to stand up and support him. I hope he takes up other dev agendas like the Vizhinjam Port too. Personally, I feel there's nothing too much to cheer about in Smart City, as the Left themselves had delayed it when UDF tried to do it (yeah clauses and all that). Footnote: And one seriously hopes that he supports development initiatives from the Congress side too when he might be in opposition couple of years from now. Then he will be a true statesman! For now 2 cheers to VS!! (I'm not a commi, but commi or no commi, I feel one should support anything that's good for the people even if the devil does it). Good job by TVR.

I think you don't have better work than talk about RAM Sethu. Highligt in right forum. Stopping talking about it in every topic. It is becoming a Nuisance.
What is doing rediff. From yesterday same news has been published on front. I think no news for rediff. What is the credit for C.M. of Kerla. he is elected for good work. So there is no credit to him. Change this article immediately

What kind of stupid article are you looking for? Please stop reading if you feel this is boring (nobody forced you to read this).
VS Achuthanandan had been sidelined under one pretext or the other for almost the entire career as a pure Communist. He made an impression through his hard work among the masses as the best opposition leader of the state. Now, he has made his presence felt in the Indian political scene as the Chief Minister who means business. His ressurection is like a phoenix. He had NO enemies from the non-Communist parties of Kerala state or elsewhere - but now his arch rival and opponent is his own partymen - especially Mr Pinarayi Vijayan, the party chief of CPM in Kerala - what a contradiction! Shri VS sir, please continue with your crusade against the various mafias operating in the state (as now you are doing against the land mafia) and crush them completely. We the people of the state are with you. Kerala must be a corruption-free State. All the best.

Lal Salaam Comrade VS, It was heartening to know that the H'nble Chief Minister (i personally would not give this title to any other CM in India) is fighting against the Land MAfia. I sincerely hope that the Party Leader ship and the fellow Ministers would rise above personal gains and support VS in his Bold Endeavours and also not show him the door like other Parties do in India. One thing is sure every Keralite is behind VS now.

Vitthal ji If all keralites return to their home state, who will do all the work which need intelligence?
By having outsiders in your State, your state is earning and not losing anything.
About 35 years back New Delhi/Delhi look deserted. Things were very cheap here. I could get a room on rent at Rs. 60/- . There were less demand for everything.
Over the years, the city has developed manifolds and now because of immigrants from other states, demand is more and source is less. The people who mostg benefited by this development is the locals. Many of the locals turned part of their home as Property AGent's office, where there is no investment and only earning. They have earned thousands of rupees. Then eateries, selling vegetables and other essential commodities etc. they earned good amount, not to speak of the rental incomes. This way, the economy has changed over the years. Had it not been to immigrants, many of them would have still found it difficult for their livelyhood. Though illiterate, now they have big bungalows, cars and other luxuries in life. All because of the boom of development and the resultant migrant population.
RAther than pointing a finger on migrant population, learn to respect them. They are giving you much more than what they are taking away from you.

No, Keralites in general are known for their intelligence. Otherwise who will employ them?
The bane of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings The boon of communism is the equal sharing of miseries. Thats why the two communist states wb and kerela are far behind the times. Their leaders(Vs and B. Bhattacharjee) have realised this and are now trying to play catchup with the rest of the world.
I am happy that the chief minister of kerala is doing a lot of good to his state and th country. Chandrababu Naidu when he took over as chief minister in the last decade, few expected him to do well. He changed the negative tide against him within months and he took some really path breaking measures and made A.P. one of the emerging states and Hyderabad one of fastest developing cities in india. He is really a model chief minister.

Mr. Krishna,
Please do let us know why CBN fared very badly after being a model CM.
Every one knows that it was all media hype and that he had never done anything good for the state. Please stop writing such messages to mislead people.

Ok. Ramana.Just answer these questions
1)Who initiated International Airport? 2)Who initiated Outer Ring Road? 3)Who initiated MMTS railway project in Hyderabad? 4)Who initiated Hitec City? 5)Who had intiated the e-governance in India? 6)Who had given permissions for so many engineering and medical colleges? 7)Who had shown the DWAKRA way for the women? 8)Who has initiated the roads widening project thru out the state? 9)Who made the resolution for IIT in AP? 10)Who initiated the Power Reforms?
The only mistake did by CBN is neglecting the agriculture? And thats the only onewhich costs his CM seat?
He made sure that AP produces more engineers so that AP can get maximum advantage of IT?
And what YSR is doing? 1)Changed the name of Airport to Rajiv Gandhi 2)Changed the name of Outer Ring Road to Rajiv rahadhari 3)Changed the name of e-seva to Rajiv Internet Village in rural areas. 4)Changed the name of Gachcibowli stadium to Rajiv Nagar. 5)Changed the name of Rajendranagar area to Rajiv Nagar 6)Changed the name of Visakha International stadium to Rajiv International Stadium 7)Worsened the power sector by giving the free elctricity 8)Intimidating the press. 9)Encouraging the Land Mafia. 10) Releasing the murderers from Jail(Gowri Venkat Reddy) 11)Wanted to declare Tirumala as 2-hill shrine
The only good thing he wanted to do is 'jalayagnam' and even that is full of scams.
a) Without proper permissions from Supreme Court, wants to start away Polavaram project b) Stopped the Krishna water to Hyderabad project at third phase, thus wasting the money spent in first two phases. c) Taking awau all the water from Telangana to Cuddapah

some of it is right, namely the bandhs, strikes etc.. but can't agree to the religious section. And Kerala and Bengal hasn't gone to the dogs for sure. The sense of equality and secularism has stood the people from both states in good stead. And, as you said, this is a good beginning to catch up with the progress in other states.
After a looong gap, we now have a CM with balls. He is an ideal politicial who is interested only in the state's development. I have see people bashing communist CMs from Kerala - lets take examples of three - EMS, EK Nayanar, and VS Achithanandan. EMS and EKN are no more - but one should admire the way they have conducted themselves all through their lives. They have not created a business empire for their kids, they do not have large bank accounts and last but not the least they have donated even their homes to the party.
They, including VS, have struggled to reach where they have. They are moulded through hard struggles during emergency. They are leaders of the poor, and the middle class. The rich mafias can take a walk now,VS will kick your ass if try and bribe him.
I feel proud to be part of this era of great politicians from my state. I pity states with people like Karunanidhi, other mean politicians as CMs who are only interested in vote bank politics with common man as pawns.

you stop with your opinions, feedbacks and comments about your state. Do not overstep into others' states. You don't have heart and mind in accepting and obeying Supreme court verdict and yet you are lecturing about others.
RE:Way to go, Comrade!

Why shouldn't I? And what supreme court verdict are you talking about? You are at the mercy of Kerala in getting water from Mullaperiyar dam. When a neighbour is giving you water to drink, you do not have any right to ask his to set his house on fire. Having hold at the center may be good enough to help you in the short term, but please for god sake, get out of Kalingar, Rajni and get a life of your own.
