May be as your name suggests, you are in your dreams. You know why BJP never got a foothold in Kerala? Because the people out there are educated enough to choose between goodness and evil. Communists are in no way an ideal choice. But, when you compare it with a antinational party like BJP with its communal wings RSS, VHP etc, I feel blessed to be living in a communist world. And, we all know who is torturing christians and muslims in the country. There is not truth in what 'Abhijith' dude has published. I am openly challenging him or you to come out with an article (of course from a national daily) that talks about communist Government exploiting temples, churches or even mosques.

Who said BJP is anti-national? That is your perception or that of people like you, who have not come out of Kerala. If missionaries are tortured there are enough reasons for that. Did you ever give a thought as to why BJP has flourished in the Northern States. It is not because Northern people are un-ducated. Rather BJP is popular with urban voters in Northern India, who are well read and informed.

The communal harmoney whi you are talking about is not possible in the northern states because the hatred between the communities runs in their blood for centuries. Right from the invasion of Babbar to partition of India, to even today, Muslims, although a minority always harassed Hindus, who are peave loving people by nature. There had been and have been forcible conversion, rape, looting and so on.

Christian Missionaries are trying to fish in the troubled waters. They are trying to take advantage of a divided HIndu society by luring the poor and underprivileged. EVery body knows what is going on and how much foreign money is flowing into this country to make it evangalised.

Kerala people who never faced any problem during the partition or before it, can speak of communal harmoney.since they have lost nothing, but don't advise about your communal harmoney to those who have lost their dear ones and nearones in the aftermath of partition or even before that during mughals rule. Hindus of Kerala will not learn their lesson till such time they find it difficult to live in Kerala.

Big joke!

The reality is that no single CM or PM is going to make a difference until we as humans get better attitude and discipline... Thats what is lacking in every Indian today... till then poverty, corruption and dadagiri are to stay in this country...

Kudos to Kerla CM
by kn nair on May 23, 2007 01:58 PM  Permalink

Thank you TVR for the informative analysis.
After a long time, I am feeling proud about what the God's own country inhabited by mostly devils can be brought back to its former glory. And all due to the courage and conviction of one determined man.
Many predicted that VS will be an utter flop as a CM as he was branded as an enemy to 'development'. But he understand the crux of what the State needs.
People of Kerala has got hope now. The clout of the land mafia and corrupt nethas cannot change the iron determination of this humble man who will be remebered as the next Achu at par with the legendary CM Achutha Menon.

A good start
by Sajish GP on May 23, 2007 01:57 PM  Permalink

Whatever VS Achuthanandan's motives may be, he is the first CM I have ever seen from my state to take such a firm stand on a vexing issue like land grabbing. All Keralites need to stand up and support him. I hope he takes up other dev agendas like the Vizhinjam Port too.
Personally, I feel there's nothing too much to cheer about in Smart City, as the Left themselves had delayed it when UDF tried to do it (yeah clauses and all that).
Footnote: And one seriously hopes that he supports development initiatives from the Congress side too when he might be in opposition couple of years from now. Then he will be a true statesman! For now 2 cheers to VS!!
(I'm not a commi, but commi or no commi, I feel one should support anything that's good for the people even if the devil does it).

Who is the CM of kerala
by Haatim on May 23, 2007 01:49 PM  Permalink

If the CM is doing so much in Kerala how come people dont even remember who the CM of kerala is outside kerala.

Keralites work very hard outside their home state but within Kerala they a re like west bengal only interested in dharnas and protests and not interested in working. All states are growing except Kerala and West bengal (Barring UP & Bihar we need Gods help for these states)
