Also take time to read peacefully the following sites: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks http://www.faithfreedom.org/Gallery/7.htm
our CM is a honest person but definetly not a great personality. i am also an environmentlist and from munnar but i cannot agree with what he is doing in munnar. media as well as govt claims that all the demolished properties are illegal. but what's the proof. the so called CHR law was done in 1944, ie before indian independence and kerala govt. by the british. and all these buildings were built with permission of the local governing body the so called 'panjayat'. as a common citizen, how will anyone know about the law unless the governing body let the citizen know. and after letting them to buy the land, giving them permission to built the building, and recieving the property tax now another govt body says its illegal. yesterday panjayat said its legal and today collector says its illegal. so as a common man whom should we believe. its easy to do destruction. munnar is a place with out a good hospital or a proper school. couldn't they have used those buildings for those purpose. what a great work he did by demolishing everything. what a great model to the young generation. Mr.TVR, please don't write about a topic with out knowing the seeing the whole picture.
My dad left Kerala in the 50\'s when abject poverty forced him to give up his education after the 10th grade and take up a job with the Indian Railways to educate his siblings. Ever since, we have lived outside the state where we belong and everytime I visited Kerala, my heart has been longing to go back there. What has put me off time and again is the militant mentality of Kerala\'s populace and a feeling that my fundamental rights as a citizen are trampled upon with gay abandon by a bunch of hooligans with support from the government. India\'s reputation as a democratic country seems to hold no water in Kerala. Any street urchin can bulldoze you into paying up for things you wish to do on your own with the police remaining mute spectators to this daylight robbery. Yes, communism has it\'s advantages too. Militant labour has ensured Kerala has not developed industrially and that has more or less kept Kerala\'s rivers relatively clean and air unpolluted. If Achuthanandan\'s efforts bear fruit, it gives me the hope I can return to the land of my fore fathers some day. I live in the middle of Silicon valley and I must say that though Silicon Valley developed into what it is, this development took place in harmony with nature. California\'s wildlife is more or less intact with vast areas left untouched. Even in areas where development is high, deer and birds are in abundance and traffic stops to let geese cross a street. I wish our chief minister the very best in his efforts!
Mr. V S Achuthanandan : A stupid old men as a Chief Minister ever can have Kerala. What is his qualification: ** Standard 40 years of Strike, experience in Kerala which led Kerala 30 years behind. What else!!!!. He is good for 19th Century, Not for 21st Century.
Munnar : This is the big foolishness. All illegal properties MUST be acquired by Kerala Govt. Instead of demolition. Any body can do demolition. But they can%u2019t build it. It must have been an asset of Kerala govt which will give thousands of people JOB and creating Thousands of Rs. Income ..
Smart City in Kochi : Whole credit goes to former chief minister Mr. Oommen Chandy, His hard work has to be appreciated. What Mr. Achuthanandan did strike again and again? Only one thing he knows that he did.
