to convert Punjab into a religious state and eliminate secularism. The Dera Baba is a clown - but he has every right to do what he has to without having to face violence from religious fanatics. Its a real tragedy that Indian secularism is at threat from such forces which can threaten integrity of India. Today is Khalsa panth , tomorrow its going to be Babu Bajrangi , then the Kanchi mutt and last but not the least the Shahi Imam trying to impose their half baked religiosity on the people and threaten the state. In our nieghbouring country - the evil mullahs of Lal Masjid are getting closer to power than before.
I have a firm belief in Sikh religion and i think to some extent we the sikhs are to be blamed for . We have our children and near dear ones cutting their hair , beard and losing the identity which Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave us, as we started losing faith in the religious beliefs these Babas came to the forefront with huge followings taking Guru Granth Sahib as their Holy Book and preaching to the general public which gets influenced. this is a time for introspection of what faults we have done and how we can improve our future generations. Sikhs in foreign countries and even the English people have tried to follow the Teachings of Guru Granth Sahib. As Regards the Baba at the dera he is imitating Guru Gobind Singh giving the name INSAAN instead of Singh, asking his disciples to drink Ruhaani JAAM similar to the Amrit and he needs to simply apologise for the act if he really believes in the teacings of the Gurus to apologise without any hesitation. but so far he has not done that assuming he is a GOd himself. Violence is no solution although being an extremely sensitive issue it is bound to provoke feelings from the Sikhs. SO IT IS TIME TO MAKE ANOTHER RESOLUTION TO HAVE DEEP FAITH IN SIKH RELGION AND SAVE OUR RELIGION ESPECIALLY IN THE NEW GENERATION AND NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO TAKE OVER.

Sikhs are themselves bent upon destroying their own religion..look how they behaved in the golden temple & what Hukmnama's they are issuing. Its like saying "only sikh religion to be worshiped". Akal Takht is not the Govt. Let the Law take its course on Dera controversy.

I respect your faith and justify it. Its your right to be like that. But do you really believe that a clown can reach a respectable place by imitating. I personally believe that his dressing and acting like great Guru Gobinsingh ji is foolish act but really not a call for do and die on part of Sikhs. He did not uttered any word in public which is derogatory to Saints. People who are in crisis of identity do such kind of things. Such people become important because they are given importance. They should be ignored. A persons foolishness can not be used to make opinion for community. Other people also have right to live and believe what they think is good. Let them if they are not uttering derogatory or let the law of the land decide. How one can call people to relinquish their faith, close their centres and run away??
These akal takht clergy want to banish all other religion from punjab. Their sentiments are pre-programmed to get hurt. They want everbody to become sikh radical. We live in civilized society where everbody has right to live the way he or she likes. The system of issuing dictacts/fatwas should be banned.Akal Takht clergy is indulging in bigger crime by advocating, encouraging & preaching voilence. They should know that the Gurus also wont like the sight of naked swords threatening peaceful citizens. They should instead encourage peacefull measures rather than asking for closure of Dera.

Make him stand in court & expalin his act/all his acts that will stop many others from becoming copycats & self styled Gurus.
Fact remains the level of harmony and peace that great sikh gurus have preached stands tested now . All of them were great messengers of peace and fought only when needed to defend their brethren . Even Guru Gobind singh ji won't have mind anybody trying to immitate him , then what's the authority of akalis and other fanatics.
It is surprising that someone (Gurmeet Ram Rahim) who preaching are actually borrowed from the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, Bhagwat Geeta & Kuran and actually has no message of his own still calls himself the Guru and dares to imitate a holy soul. Over & above that this person has no guts to face the public but has put his chelas in front who are not able to answer directly as to why they imitated Guru Gobind Singh and What is the problem for Gurmeet Ram Rahim to Categorically APOLOGISE if he really regrets his action. Moreover even some sections of the media are also covering the news as if they are the representatives or spokespersons of Gurmeet Ram Rahim whereas there coverage should actually be absolutely Neutral. I ALSO APPEAL TO ALL TO PLEASE UNDERSTAND that the Anger and reaction of Sikhs has erupted ONLY AFTER THIS MAN RAM-RAHIM DID A WRONG ACTION. SIKHS HAVE BEEN PROVOKED TO STAND UP. Otherwise if sikhs wanted to acted abruptly his deras would have got closed by long time back. Please remember under normal circumstances, Sikhs are SAVOIURS and NOT distroyers. they have shown patience and protected their Hindu countreparts in time of need. no doubt they came from the hindus themselves.but there is always a limit to test ur patience and ur accomodating others and what greatness lies if u lose ur identity and let any baba take over. all the sants and babas should be banned
It all happening only because of political reason. What Dera chief did is not a hynious crime. Since in Movie or in mqny play people are copying the acting of all great man or religon. Hard core Sikh want to disturb Punjab again. This is State & Centre Government's responsibility to to protect each & every citizen of India. And Law & Judiciary of the country should take proper action if really required so far since FIR is already registered. Any religion of the country is not bigger than the nation amd mnational interest. If any unlawful activity practiced by the hardcore Sikhs it will be highly unfortunate & objectionable and they shall be answerable.

I donot see it as hardcore sikhs trying to disturb peace in punjab, but sikhs trying to protect sikhism. These sikhs are upset over lower caste sikhs going over to these donghi babas and deras. The dera culture was always strong in punjab, that is exactly why the tenth Guru had ordered that there would be no more further Gurus and the Granth Sahib(Holy Book) be there for guidance.

Hello Yogesh! You would have to agree that nobody till date has appeared on TV or in any movies as a Guru Nanak ji or any other Guru. This is the reason that we have never made any movies on our history with gurus in it, so with a faith that nobody can be a guru or can immitate him. This Baba did the same, immitated guru gobind singh ji by dressing like him and creating the same scene of 1699 when Guruji had baptised his sikhs. this has angered sikhs..still the sikhs didnt started violently, only after dera followers with congress aid when attacked sikhs in bathinda the sikhs started with these processions..and now the situation as expected has gone out of control...That baba who preaches humility and "ahimsa" hasnt apologised for his actions. If he is such a noble person then how is he facing CBI inquiry in murder case of a reporter & his ex-manager who had reported about the sexual exploitation of women workers in his dera. this baba has 700 acres of land and lives life like a king. If he is so regretful of the whole incident then why doesnt he merely apologises, instead of donating blood save the blood which may be of his followers or of sikhs if clashes would take place.
what right do the religious leaders have to disturb the peace. It is happeningse all over. the positions /funds are misused .the common man is sacrificed at the altar of whims and fancies of religious /political leaders. please leave us alone we have to worry about the inflation and organized fleecing.
I was astonished toknow thatDehra is occypying over 800 acres at Sirsa alone HOw can this be alowed when poor farmer has to comply with Land Cieling Act Too much Land , too much wealth and too many followers falling on Baba 's feet has made him feel that he is GOd Almighty He must be cut to size and made to pay for charges against him Put cieling on land that all type os Dehras can hold/ occupy S Grewal
it is in the interest of humanity that dera spokesperson instead of asking his own people to keep their josh for the right time,should appease dera guru to come fwd and say sorry, if something has happened unintentionally their is no harm in saying SORRY...
