90% muslims
by Chatrapathy on May 19, 2007 08:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I want to make a categorical statement here..... 90% of muslims in India are loyal to pakistan and 80% christians feel that their roots are in Rome.... They have a problem aligning themselves to the culture of this country...

There is nor denying this fact

yup, Chatrapathy is wrong, > 90% of Muslims owe single-minded allegiance to Allah and Mohammed, that's why they want Sharia in India, they don't want to mix with Hindus, that's why they concentrate in specific areas in cities:
1. Mumbra in Mumbai.
2. Mankapur in Nagpur.
3. Old city in Hyderabad.
4. Old city in Ahmedabad.
5. Salt Lake in Calcutta.
Not long ago, a Muslim who posts here regularly said that he doesn't trust the Indian Constitution, he feels the fatwas issued by clerics are better.

Don't Block your mind and try to change your mind set. See the things vely. Now a days people are becoming soft and there are no boundaries like caste, religion etc. We are all ONE. The same change can be felt from post attack incidents. No major voilence. People are realistic and wants live happily - No more Dharnas, Bandhs, Riots etc. Only Peace.........

Let me give u one example:
In TOI, I have read more than 10 incidents in the space of a month where a Muslim boy married a Hindu girl. These incidents happened in Gujarat.
In TOI, I read a single instance of a Muslim girl marrying a Hindu boy. After the day of their marriage, the girl went missing, she was kidnapped, the police are unable to find her.

the truth is that Muslims prefer to marry Hindu girls, convert them to Islam, and then ditch them as they can marry 4 women. But, they can't stand the sight of a girl from their community marrying some Hindu.

Let me give u one more example.
Farooq Abdullah, the former CM of J & K, married a Christian. His son, Omar Abdullah, married a Hindu girl. the old man was very happy. But, when his daughter married a Hindu boy, he disowned her.
Now, u tell me, don't divisions exist in the society? Divisions exist since some beliefs are fundamentally incompatible. It is for real, denying the fundamental issues doesn't change anything.

Christian Missionaries
by Chatrapathy on May 19, 2007 05:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Onlooker,

I will come to ur house and I will start wooing ur wife. I will start fabricating stories against u and I will start villyfying u, I will buy extravagant gifts for her. would u oppose this or would u say that the girl belongs to the guy who lures her the best. These Christian missionaries are doing the same thing, coming to my house and wooing our people, by maligning our religion . I wont tolerate them

Hello Chatrapathy,
At the most your wife would have got a Bible. Is that what you mean extravagant gift?

Alright, you don't have to tolerate them. So deal with them but lawfully.

One more thing that Christian missionaries tell poor people is that Krishna and Ram can't solve ur problems, Jesus can.
Now, tell me, what has religion got to do with food, clothing and shelter? These r material possessions, they can be earned only by education and employment.
It was because of this that Swami Vivekananda once said,
"OFFERING RELIGION TO A STARVING MAN IS A CRIME."

Incidentally, almost 200 years of Christianity in India has "Converted" only 2.5% of India's population. If you know mathematics, sit and calculate how long it is going to take to
"Convert" all the Hindus to Christianity. Here in Northern California, I see so many followers of ISKON trying to get people into their fold. Should this be called "Conversion".
There is a limit to stupidity and it do well for people like you to limit your knowledge to yourself. Don't advertise it on public forums like this, lest people laugh at you. You know nothing about Hinduism and that is the reason you come up with such foolish statements. Hinduism is too strong a Religion for a few dollars to make a dent. It has lasted over 5000 years and will last another 5 million years.

Dear Joseph, the problem with Christianity is besides conversion it makes the converted people to hate their culture, roots and traditions. You say you live in USA, than I don't have to mention what Spanish people did to South American people and its culture and what happened to Native Americans. It is just like abusing your own mother, don't you think so?

This is silly as silly can get. Nobody has anything to say about why half of India is not Christian in spite of such rampant "Conversion". I am a Christian and lived 43 years of my life in India. I NEVER asked any of my Hindu friends (incidentally most of my friends are Hindus)to even think of me as a Christian, let alone preaching Christianity to them. I don't deny there are black sheep, but that is very much part of any religion. Forceful conversion is something I am yet to come across. To be honest, I miss India terribly and am looking forward to the day I can get back. Why don't you people look at the positive side of Christianity in India. When you point fingers, why not ask yourself this question. How many of you would go to a god forsaken village in Bihar where even dacoits fear to tread and work in a Dispensary? How many of you would go and teach in a Village where the only road is a Cattle track? Why don't you look at the positive side of Christianity in India rather than go by what a few idiots set out to do? How many of you know that most of India's best schools and hospitals are run by Christian organizations? Have any of you been asked to "Convert" to Christianity when you go to a Christian Hospital? Have you ever been refused treatment because you are Hindu? It's easy to paint everyone with the same brush, but before doing so, it would do well to check facts.

Joseph,
ISKCON doesn't catch poor, uneducated, starving, rotting, helpless beggars and convert them to Hinduism. Only educated, well-to-do and sensible people r attracted to Hinduism.
Have u ever considered the profile of the people who convert to Christianity in India?
There's an order-of-magnitude difference in Hinduism and Christianity, moreover, Hinduism doesn't enjoin upon Hindus to convert others.

I agree. If Iskon is trying to convert by force or allurement, they should be condemned more than condemning Muslims or Christians trying to convert. For Muslims and Christians, conversion is considered a sacred act by their respective religions. Iskonites should understand that Hinduism does not have any ritual called 'conversion'. Krishna said in Gita that "Swadharme Nidhane Shreya" That means it is better to die in the faith that one is born.

It's simple, if a Christian missionary really wanted upliftment of the poor, he would just educate them, but making it contingent upon a change of faith is what makes them VILE.
