Mayawati is good
by Dream Girl on May 17, 2007 03:29 PM  Permalink

I guess Mayawati is fair and simple... People irrespective of their caste, creed and religion should vote and make her PM of India. She would be a real champion of communal hormony and a more emotionally integrated uncommunal India...

Simple Solution for the Complicated Quota Problem
by Dinesh Menon on May 17, 2007 03:28 PM  Permalink

Amend the Indian Constitution by adding the following:

No reservations, what so ever, is permitted in India except in case of Railway and Cinema Tickets. And no Quota, what so ever, is permitted in India except in case of reservations for Railway and Cinema Ticekts.

People like Karunandhi will find their own Marans (death).

This a very simple solution and I hope the Rediff readers need discuss this matter any further.

I hope Rediff readers and students will thank me for this solution.

PM, Advani back Mayawati's upper caste uplift call
by trivendra on May 17, 2007 03:27 PM  Permalink

I doubt, It's again vote politics among politician. The only diference this time is that aged leaders are learning from success of Mayawati. People soon will find so many consolers flooding from amongest leaders. Central Elections are just next to this recent election of UP assembly. Everybody will like to encash this old opportunity in new pack as served by Mayawati. I wish the expression shown by leaders come from their soul.

Even Dalits who are rich are enjoying. The poor dalit is always poor. So we should only look the reservation on the economic conditions of the people. Consider the poor whether he is dalit, christian, muslim or upper caste

Sarkari naukri does not require merit
by Manoj Singh on May 17, 2007 03:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Want to bring to everybody%u2019s notice that sarkari naukri does not require educational merit. So, anybody can be recruited for sarkari naukri. Even illiterate person can be appointed as chief engineer in sarkari office, and I can bet that the quality of his work will be at par with any other meritorious Babu from general category in sarkari office. Poor quality is the identity of sarkari babu. It is only private office where talent matters. Let reservation flourish in sarkari naukri only. And double that number of professional college.

Well done India........... Jai...Hind

This Ambedkar Jayanti was really lucky for Mayawati.
Last week only lakhs of tribals embraced buddhism under Dalai Lama in mumbai.

in fact.... it's good fr all those oppressed in indian society and polity.

Mashallah....... BJP got the message again.

and this TamasheBaaz Amar Singh...... got the similar fate as that
of Promod Mahajan in 2004.... due to their blind beleif on Media...
Movies..... and the Randeeiis and Bharwaaas there in. Nothing worked.

Now.... I am again hopeful......Inshallah India will become SuperPower
but with Social justice and Peace as a major Priority.

Our PM and President are wise and learned.
they are not going to do anything silly....
e-g breaking relations with Arabs and Iran for getting Nukes from US.......

Well done India........... Jai...Hind

Yeah. People did embrase buddism - an arm of hinduism. Certianl they did not convert to islam. Because, it is barbaric belief system for the nomads and tribes. Moslams believe in violence. Buddha believed in peace.

Tru face of islam can be found in faithfreedom.org.

Reservation should be in private organisations also. Because there are lot of upper class people who are not eligible for admission but they are getting it through donation if a donation wala can be doctor or engineer then why not an OBC candidate by reservation

Dear Kumawat Samaj,
I don't understand your logic as well ur (horrible) mind set. Whether a person gets degree by paying money or with caste card private organisations won't take them unless they exhibit skill, talet and performance. Then what is your funda of extending reservation logic to private sector
