What is the use of ABV as president - no powers for the president under India's constitution. The whole system is now corrupt so what can one man do?
Ideally, Subash Bose or Sardar Patel should have been the "dictator" of India after independence for at least 20 years. That would have given them time to clean out the weeds (commies, congressies, anti-Hindu, and anti-nationals).
I like the American policy - anyone associated with commies are put in jail and barred from politics. We should sentence the old hacks Joyti Basu, VP Singh, the Karats, etc to 20 years RI.

he is the one who gave a wake up call to the congress there can be a non-congress govt at the centre and that too which can run its full term. now ,congress is worried , if they don't perform,BJP might win next election.
The success of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam as a president lies in the fact he dint have a political background and secondly had a good acadamic background so was connected
to the knowledge domain. The next president should also be from similar backgrounds and we do have some really good and well known choices.
1> Mr Rahul Bajaj.
(Rajya Sabha MP, Prominant Industrialist but also a fierce defendent of development and ecconomic liberalisation , only one who can openly take the Left and the psudo secularists directly headon, grandson of famous freedom fighter Late Jamnalal Bajaj, educationally studied at St Stephens College Delhi and
topmost Harvard University in the USA )
2> Arun Showriee.
(Needs no introduction, biggest enemy of the Left is his best qualification , but also known as the man who stood for freedom of expression and journalism of courage, took Rajiv Gandhi headon during the Bofors scandal, took
tough stand on freedom of press and expression, a known anti currouption crusador, A known independent thinker, Educationally holds a Phd in Economics from the world famous Syracuse University in USA)
3>Mr N Narayan Murthy.
(The name itself is synomous with Indias sucess in Information Technology and the Knowledge domain. No better choice to describe him as a brand ambasador of India's economic sucess story. Educationally holds a BE and a MTech from IIT)
Any one of the above choices will keep India away from psudo secularist. Leftists, castists, criminals and most importantly will not represent curroupt politicians. All of the above candidates will think INDIA first and

For your kind information.... Narayana Murthy is an old Communist.... may be he is still!! So he should be the choice...
After being a Prime Minister, a post of authority, he knows the limitations of the President. He would rathar be the man of authority than a stamp paper. The only person who has made a lot of changes to that post is Dr. Kalam, and he should be given a second chance as he can make changes not only for that post, but for the country on the whole.
what better choice one can get? why not Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam? its sad and bad that none of the political parties are considering the voice of the nation for electing Dr.Abdul Kalam

agreed that the President does'nt really take decisions of the affairs of our country. But the President has more rights and powers than the PM to revoke almost all orders and judgements.

I just want to know what Mr. Kalam could do as a president , True he is a genious, he provides a direction to the youths but as a president why waste his mental power as everyone knows that how much power the president of india holds He can send back any law cleared by parliyament only once but not twice also the NDA and Lots of Indians are not happy with Mr. Kalam's as the decision of hanging AFjal is still hanging in air want to know your positive and negative comment over the issue
Dr.Kalam is a preferred choice of public. I do accept it. But let him be free. His job is still not over. He is trying for a country without corruption, communal hatred and region disputes. He is creating awareness among young people. Please let him continue that. But my choice will be a talented person but a person who can move around quick unlike our old leaders who can't walk.
