H.E. Vajpayee is too old and we should leave him alone as a mentor of BJP. His age is a constraint. All Political parties should choose H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam unanimously without even a single party opposing it, then Dr. Abdul Kalam will certianly consider his decision. even a slight opposition from any party will make Dr. Abdul Kalam to deny, as he is a dignified professional and highly educated. We all need to respect that which is very important and he is above any politics and politicking. How about Dr. Manmohan Singh, if all parties needs the change ?.

The success of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam as a president lies in the fact he dint have a political background and secondly had a good acadamic background so was connected to the Knowledge domain.
The next president should also be from similar backgrounds and we do have some really good and well known choices.
1>Mr N Narayan Murthy
(The name itself is synomous with Indias sucess in Information Technology and the Knowledge domain. No better choice to describe him as a brand ambasador of India's economic sucess story. Educationally holds a BE and a MTech from IIT)
2> Dr Raghunath Mashelkar.
(Better known as Indians crusador for Patients, prominant Scientist, Scientific advisor to the Prime minister was chief of CSIR and also the NCL, educationally holds a MTech and a PHD from IIT, Bhatnagar fellow, has 50 honarry doctarates..!!)
3> Mr Rahul Bajaj
(Rajya Sabha MP, Prominant Industrialist but also a fierce defendent of development and ecconomic liberalisation , only one who can openly take the Left and the psudo secularists directly headon, grandson of famous freedom fighter Late Jamnalal Bajaj, educationally studied at St Stephens College Delhi and topmost Harvard University in the USA )
4> Arun Showriee
(Needs no introduction, biggest enemy of the Left is his biggest qualification , but the man who stands for freedom of expression and journalism of courage , took Rajiv Gandhi headon during the Bofors scandal, stood for freedom of expression, and anti currouption crusador, Educationally holds a Phd in Economics from the world famous Syracuse University in USA)
Any one of the above choices will keep India away from psudo secularist. Leftists, castists, criminals and most importantly will not represent curroupt politicians.
I am in favor of Mr Atal B Bajpei, if he will be the President of INDIA, than he can be the good follower of recent president APJ Abdul Kalam. I think he is the best of all other candidate what i have heard still now. ALL THE BEST to Atal B Bajpei. Onething matters is his age. Lets see what gonna to happen.
How pathetic! Even a politician like Mamta Banerji (other one being Uma Bharti) who plays all possible gimmicks - that often look cheap and ridiculous - for her political sruvival, can propose someone as the next President!!

I think vajpayee ji will be perfect for the president. All president is supposed to do is to give nod to all the absurd policies that the ruling idiots come up with, cut ribbons in functions, and have a nice time for five years in a super luxury 365 room villa (our rashtrapati bhavan). so, why do you want to wast e some useful person over this.. Vajpayee is perfect. He has served the nation at some point, so let him enjoy his retirement there...
do we really need the president. How can one nominate so old Bajpayee. One need a president to atleast walk and talk freely. God bless this political party's. Try to find some genuine person. Bajpayee is too old to be a president.
