not a fair system
by vishwanathan on May 16, 2007 11:36 AM  Permalink

the sanjay dutt arms possession case has been dealt with kid gloves. that he was allowed to go abroad many a times and the dubious strategy of hollywood to make him a hero out of villain, does not speak of a nation with conscience. we punish petty criminals heavy while terrorists and their supporters get the tag of the 'psychologically challenged' and 'ideologically perverted'.
we should have a smart justice delivery system, wherein -
(1) criminals caught red-handed with 'loads' of proof are punished instantaneously
(2) police personnel / judges misutilising the law to harass / punish innoncents and protect the real criminals, are black listed and punished too.
our country has to go a long way before we have mature legal system. for the time being, it is good time for criminals.

MOTIVE tells sanjay should not be punished
by satvinder raulia on May 16, 2007 11:27 AM  Permalink

What was motive to keep that arms.is sunjay dutt a poor guy,is he a terrorist, isn't him self is a public personality.

imagine you are a public and you commit a crime don't you think public will easly identify you.like the way salman run over genral public.

so story that sanjay told to court, point to true evidence.

story that against sanjay dutt does not realy justify his act.

burden of proof doesn't matter what you got to survive, but that should be heavy than oppisite site.

what ever comes to conclusion sanjay already have spend time in prison.

In my opinion he should not be punished his act is a crime but his motive to keep arms cut his act down and the time he have spend letting him go out of case.

Giv him a break
by Sunil Shankar on May 16, 2007 11:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Common Yaar, Give him a break.... There are around 400 to 500 criminals sitting in a place called parliament house of india who decide what we should do and not do. And they are given the highes salary, perks, designation whatever you call on our expenses. For them you guys dont have anything like....law should take its own course and bla bla bla. and for a person like sanju you have all the moral ethics. even that idiot sallu got away by paying money so far. at least sanju has served in jail for 16 months. and its enough punishment. For gods sake he is not an underworld don yaar. Just an actor. Thats it. have mercy on him. And i know how many of you break how many laws on an average day in india and how much punishment LEGALLY you deserve for it. Lets not say it.....................

dear s shankar,

there is a big difference in taking illegal katta and AK 56.

there is a big difference between dawood ibraham & his fallow's friendship & kala chor's freindship

if u think there is not any difference then u should go to jail at the place of sanjay dutt as u r the bigger criminal than sanjay dutt.
