Whatever be reason, the developments which lead to sacking/resignation of Maran from the Ministry is unfortunate. He was doing a wonderful job. Its a big loss for Tamilnadu too, especially when Maran was trying to pull maximum investment for TN. Anyways his accomplishments mainly investement of Nokia in Chennai and other significant investments keep his name up in the minds of people. Hope this would not end the political career of Maran.
Everyone has conveniently forgotten about the three employees of Dinakaran newspaper who were murdered by marauding political lumpens. In all the politicking that goes on between the Marans and their grandfather, will these hapless victims ever get justice. It is not without significance that Mr Karunanidhi called for a CBI enquiry and then promptly got appointed Mrs Radhika Selvi as MoS for Home. The CBI will directly report to Mrs Radhika Selvi. Can there be any hope of the politically backed murderers being brought to justice ? Think about it.
I,as an Andhraite , would welcome the fall of Dayanidhi Maran solely because he has done enough damage to AP by hijacking important Telecom projetcs to Tamil Nadu.So in a sense it is welcome.I do hope at least now the AP MPs get going to woo new projetcts. Dayanidhi's was a meteoric rise in DMK and this was not digestible to the Karunanidhi family and close acolytes.Let's accept the fact that Thiru MK Karunanidhi is rank opportunist having a reputation of running with the hares and hunting with the hounds. There is no idealogy.This makes the DMK to sleep with any party ,either in the same room or even on the same bed.For the DMK and especially for Thiru MK,what matters is family first. After all blood is always thicker than water.It is but natural that Kanimozhi is being groomed to take over the mantle of DMK's face in Delhi.Being Karunanidhi's daughetr is more than enough to elevate her 'poetic works' from the the ordinary to the level of that of rivalling with Bharathi.Now that's poetic licence. Karunanidhi's immidiate and extended family squabble over Tamil Nadu as if it is theirs to inherit. Further North in Delhi the Gandhi's have beaten back kin and kith to retain entire India as their inheritance. Even small regional czars shamelessly exhibit dynastic tendencies.

Marans had set world record indeed!The huge unimaginble wealth they got in a decade require brobe . Only than how they rose to number one in Tamilnadu will come to light.Just to escape from criticism they all are acting a drama. Action at highest judicial body alone bring the episode to light how political power help to amass wealth by Marans?
His ways are inscrutable.His first choice is his family.His second choice is his family.His third choice is also his own family.Rest are needed only when he needs.When once his needs are over every one is dispensable.He once Sided with Congress Party. He derived maximum benefit then.He later switched to BJP as the wind blew in their favour.He again derived the maximum benefit.He now switched his loyalty to Congress as this suits his present needs.It will be no wonder if he again ditches congress when some other party/group comes to power at the center.As he extracted the maximum from Maran Family ,he needs them no more.Like wise he switched his loyalty from Periar(E.V.R) to ANNADURAI only for his selfish career in politics.He has no scruples.
However Kalainar karunanidhi owes admiration for his personality and career achievements, he has a poor conventional team, which is no use for future...! Who is there to guide kalaignar to a positive alternate way to make him remember well in history. Stalin or Alagiri is not fit to govern.. Kanimozhi and Dayanidi is fit and talented people.. Missing him is a big loss to the DMK party.. knowing it in future would be of no use for KK..pity him too. Theerazvas
One need not be a genius to understand that only Karunanidhi's direct descendants are allowed to rise in the DMK which has deteriorated to being a stage for Karunanidhi's family. Either one has to throw away any sense of shame like Anbazhagan and keep praising the family or go out and form a new party like MGR and Vaiko. Thanks, P.B.Mohan
