Oh My God...Such a poor and disgusting statement ...when you have given chance to represent the state prove yourself first here ...improve the state map and do something good useful for public instead thinking for the center seat. here is alok gupta chennai

Even people thought Mr Chandra Babu Naidu was an ideal candidate for PM. Now look at his state totally nowhere. So my advise to madam is she should concentrate on good governance in UP rather than looking at Delhi.Pehala apna ghar sambhalo madam.

just by luck of draw, she was born into UP ..
by sree on May 14, 2007 04:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

... someone like chandrababu has more popularity than she does, but because UP people breed faster than south or east indians, she thinks she has some sort of "right" to become prime minister.
So tragic..

Donning the PMship by persons of poor calibre is not new to India- Manmohan Singh, Deva Gowda,V.P.Singh, I.K.Gujral are examples. Mayawati is any day better than any one of these !!

and what exactly this economist PM has achieved? Divide nation in the name of cast?? Telling UP people that Rahul is their future? Bihar and Goa where democracy was killed/rapped in a daylight? Returning the bills without changes to President who is an honourable man? Constant fighing with Supreme court? Don't give me a crap that Indian economy is doing great. Read foreign expert's opinion, one of the respectable wall street manager said, India is growing at 8 % inspite of Government rather due to government. Mayawati for sure can't do worse than this. I agree that will the horrible day for India, but then again we had VP singh,Dev lauda, Gujaral and now with MM singh? Jay Hind.

Hey Guys i dot want to comments anything on mayavati. The reality is she going become a CM in UP without any other support. which is not happen in last more than one and half decade. She has pass long way to reach at this place and no one can say what she is going to do now better to wait and watch you have already voted so your role is over now. Remember before 20 years BJP has won such a huge margin later on become a National level party. SO aba Delhi dur nahi hey maya ke liye

How long could be Mayawati's Tenure as CM?
by on May 13, 2007 11:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ms. Mayawati was the CM thrice before. But she was never being able to rule the state for more than 16 months. 3 June 1995 to 18 October 1995, 21 March 1997 to 21 September 1997, 3 May 2002 to 29 August 2003. 13 May 2007 to - ? What do you think, is she is going to complete her 5 yr term this time?
