Quota and parlimentarians
by My view on May 08, 2007 10:48 PM  Permalink

The politicians have done nothing so far for the handicapped, the tribals, the Below poverty line folks. That is because, these ppl are struggling so much to sustain and their votes dont matter. So, the politicians are after the middleclass ppl.
Divide the middle class into all possible castes/creeds whatsoever....dont allow them to think beyond caste. By doing this bifurcation, the politicians are just ensuring that they win the elections and keep pocketing our money. We are never goin to prosper this way. Can quotas be made on the following basis?

1.Income level
2. Physical disability
3. Merit

If the deserving students are poor, they can be helped, by giving them assistance. Why spoil the life of a deserving financially lower placed FC? Common guys, we need to see our motto this way....."help the poor and needy" and not as "help the backward and minorities".

Poor/deserving candidates are all equal....let us students not discriminate among ourselves. I see my friends as friends...and not bc/obc/sc/st.....we are all equal. This quota system will not work outside india....but being friends will.

Please dont give me hate replies now. I have not said a word wrong abt anyone. It is just a fair msg. Thanks guys.
close to 54% of the population in india is youth. why fight among ourselves. let us make this place a better place to live!

If everything starts happening the way our dear parliamenterians wants then here are few immediate changes you will see:1.All the jobs prized to minority 2.Army pullout from Kashmir, Assam etc 3.All the terrorist and Naxals being invited everyday to South Block and Rashtrapati bhavan 4.And, Reservation 100%....

The fact we should remember here is leader in India always think of their kursey (as rightly suggested by Manmadhan) and nothing else. Also, its an impossible case netaji kith and kins searching for jobs or struggling for admission in any college.

It is very easy to get a bill passed in the Rajyasabha/Lokasabha as the parliamentarians are conscious of their Kurusey. So anything in favour of Minority communities/OBC/
SC/STs will be easily be passed, whether it is good for them or bad for others.
