Indeed it's a shame. In Islam (ironically it means 'peace'), women and slaves don't have any rights. It asks men to make their women abide them by beating them with sticks (not thick, but slim) in generally covered areas so that the marks can't be seen by others !! As per new reports from European countries, African Muslim ladies are being denied divorce from their beater-husbands, because as per Sura 4 of Verse 34 of Koran, a man has all the rights of beating his wife - so unless the beating causes a limb to become useless permanently (i.e. broken or paralyzed), the woman can't ask for divorce. Just think over it - I don't understand how and why some educated people still practice Islam !!

my dear friend a women can ask divorce which is called Khula from her husband anytime if he is irresponsible. she can abandon him. Dont come with ur some website lines and create doubt here. The law should be the same for everyone in the country. What's the point of having secular democracy with secular laws? If you wan Islamic laws, you should move to a moslim country, not a secular one where all religions have the same rules and laws of the government. The same goes for all other religions actually.

Secular: state and religion are separated. This is done so that every citizen is treated with same set of laws in impartial way, treated fair and equal. Religion has no say in the judiciary, only human rights which are the same, wether you're abusive religious fanatic or neutral universal God respecting or even non-believer. Nobody can tell others to submit to one set of laws or the other, only the national citizen's secular laws. Religion: should be private and promote peace, not violence, everything about religion is voluntary, never forced by a fellow person. Anybody forcing is a criminal and should be persecuted.

Some how Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe, Russia and US. i think people are getting foolish. When I say growing I mean because of conversions and not immigration. All this after so much bad publicity. May be u should learn about Islam and comment on why people embrace it.

While there is definite truth in this, they'll probably try to hinder this truth from spreading. Evryone knows Islam has been spread by the sword. Hindus & Sikhs also were blackmailed/pressurized into all kinds of conversions, but nobody dares to remember these historic facts. If you do, some agressor will try to seal your mouth. It proves how succesfull the cowardly and dastardly terrorists have been. Krishna recommends in Mahabharat to unhesitatingly kill the terrorist with great determination. They don't deserve anything. let God save them if he wants, it's not up to us anymore.
I am sure the army will start procuring equipments (given the ever increasing defence budget) to neutralize these modern gadgets being used by terrorists.......
