Fake Encounter
by Manoj Mehta on May 07, 2007 04:48 PM  Permalink

I do not understand why people & POLITICIANS are only after Gujrat when more no. of people are killed in U.P & W.B.in police encounters.
It is a pity that Samajwadi party & LEFT Parties
are making maximum noise forgetting that their respective states are worst on this count. Let them resign from power in UP & WB before asking Modi to resign who have tirelessly worked round the clock in last 5 years to make Gujrat one of the most developed state in India.
Did any of the rediff reader has asked Gujrat Muslims if he would like to shift to UP, Bihar or W.B ? I am sure their answer in most probability will be "NO".Muslims in Gujrat are the most prospourous & progressive than any where in India.

treating India
by jacob parampett on May 07, 2007 04:24 PM  Permalink

US is treating India as their one state, India is not the state of US it is worlds' largest democratic country and one of the oldest civilisation in the world.India doesn't have to say everything to US what ever we are doing.looks like Indian government is going back to British ruleing time.Earlier it was british noe Indian govrnment surrendering India to US.Every country got bad things not only in India. Why the parliement has to fight for a letter from US, put the letter into the trash.Think, if Indian parliement send a letter to US capitol is they are going to talk about that??????????

Parliament turmoil
by PKS Sarin on May 07, 2007 04:14 PM  Permalink

Turmoils always precede major changes. The fake encounters in Gujrat are condemnable and punishable but so are the umpteem number of fake encounters and senseless violence committed in almost all other states, Marxist ruled West Bengal and Tripura and Congress ruled insurgency ridden states of Northeast. Why is there no turmoil over them ?

Cheap behaviour in Parliament
by Seshadri on May 07, 2007 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whatever the issue is, the behaviour of the members should be honourable and organized. The Country is put down by these cheap acts of our representatives (any Parliamentarians seeing this discussion?).

Secondly, the uproar is not due to the genuiness of the case, but, rather that it is an apt attack to hurl at the other party.

Ideally our politicians should be compulsorily be made to read such discussion boards on issues of national importance and sensitivity, so that they know the general reactions of the public.

You are right Seshadri..the bigger issue is the behavious of parlimentarians rather than the issue itself. We deserve the politicians we get. Even in this discussion board very few people seem to be noticing that & are generally behaving like our representatives. Real tragedy.

Fake encounters
by R Dixit on May 07, 2007 03:41 PM  Permalink

We should not discuss comunal angle .Question is- if fake encounter O.K for killing criminals?
Is it justified in view of the delays and loopholes in our judicial system ? Every state is involved in to some type of fake enconters .Can we justify killing in panjab to counter terrorism ?we want to give teeth to police to contain bad elements .Some checks need to be evolved so that police is bridled .

to Mr shivaji
by Mukesh Sharma on May 07, 2007 03:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Shivaji,
On the name of minority & few incidents ( some may be fake), u cannot blame & claim the indian people being partial to you minorities. India has been a liberal & soft country , every person has right to speak, vote & follow his religion. It dosent mean that u take the advantage of it on the basis of few incidents & blame the people of county.
Stop conversions & live happily in india as other are living . Why u want to spread yr religion when contitution dont allow u & police cannot reach to u . It is u people who invite these incidents & then blame the whole nation. u have full liberty to make church , follow yr religion but u take advantage of it & illegaly some of u start conversion silently. Put an end to this practice & be happy

Who do these poor peole turn to, when they are being tortured, humiliated, spit on their faces, when they are turned away when they visit the so called temples, Where do they go to when they are treated as worse than a leprous dogs, Who do they turn to - when there is no one for them.

That is when they turn to for a ever loving compassionate being who had given his life for them long time ago. Ask those tribals who are deep in the forest and look into those eyes you will find happiness no politicial can give and even no statues can give.

If any one, even a single soul which is weary needs it - I can show the way, it is free.

I don't belong to any political party, I am only driven by the compassion for the souls searching for comfort

Oh! The compassionate missionary. Let me show you your true face:
->The poor are offered cash / job for first chaning their religion/name. If they refuse they are socially targettted. (My maid was ex-communicated and beaten up by her neighbors when she refused to convert)
->These new converts are left in the lurch where they are neigther christians (they just put Jesus's idol in theri pooja room) nor hundus are they are told to hate everything hindu.
->I know of cases where son drove his father out of house as he didn't agree to convet.
->All Indian rituals are tought to be *devlish* even those who have apperently no releigious connections (e.g. wearing bindi, golden bangles all local festivals)?
->The convert just becomes a Hindu hater with littler root in christianity (as practiced in traditional churches).
->The only focus of your kind is meeting the *Targets*. What happens to these targets or people around them is none of your concern.

Prosecution of minorities!
by Ram Sharma on May 07, 2007 03:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

shivaji
u r unnecesarily making issue of a non issue.
there is no minority prosecution in india. hindus r the most secular people in the world. our pm, president and the most powerful chirperson of upa r all minorities. but hindus r not worried or concerned. because they r not bothered as they r secular. can u give instance of all powerful posts of a country going to minorities anywhere in the world? and u r saying that minorities r being killed.
u r also saying that particularly christians are being killed. such type of rare incidents occur because christians r trying hard to convert the poor tribals all over the country by trying to bribe and fool them. if they stop this practice, nothing will happen. if they r so particular about the plight of poor people, why do they not try to convert muslims, many of whom r poor? because then they will meet their match.

Mr. Ram sharma yr mistaken. Really we feel this shivaji named person is a converted one or their agent. We have no words to say about them. Day by day these shy less people are converting the poor down trodden people of India and grudually they are moving to Parliament to again keep them as they were where (to give ST/ST status). We can see one day our congress leader will do that too. They are now moving with the wind. Now a days the western wind is breazing on.

I am sorry to say you got it all wrong Ram. They are just showing the LIGHT. They don't get any thing for showing the LIGHT, they are driven by the destiny which you will not understand.

Seek and you shall find.
