Good Question. BJP could have been a good alternative. BJP was getting popular in Gujarat. but the way the handled the Gujarat problem was pathetic. BJP had some really good leaders and it was a really good alternative to congress but the problem is that they will have to be neutral party to be a national party.

Muslims are a Feudal Community.Democracy and Islam cann't Coexist. You cann't find a single Democratic country in the world with Muslim Majority. And when they are a significant Minority anywhere [Lebanon,Philipines,etc.]that country will be engulfed in Violence as the Muslims are violent by nature and would want to become Majority by Violence.There is nothing wrong with the BJP. Only the slavish Parties like the Congress try to get votebanks by appeasing the unreasonable among the Minorities. [Shah Bano Case is a Classic Example where the Muslim community rather than supporting the Progressive Nationalist Arif Mohammed Khan, preferred to go with the Mullahs and Rajiv Gandhi! The rest is history. Why blame BJP?

1) There is no mention of BJP here 2) The most populous muslim countries are successful democracies. For e.g. Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran. 4) Philipines is not a muslim majority country 5) If muslims are violent by nature and they convert by force then can you tell me which muslim army went to Indonesia or malaysia ? Or which muslim army conqured the north of Africa ? 6) What will you achieve by abusing and demonising 15% of your population?

Both Indonesia and Malesia have not mixed up there religion and culture and at the same time religion and politices. But do not foget the way christians were hounded in Indonesia just a few years ego. They do not look to middle east for inspiration. As far as Iran is concerned tell me how many muslim countries have had leaders like Atta Turk ??? Do you know how they have changed and adapted with the time ??? About democracy in Iran, the less said the better. And you say you are 15%. Your MINORITY PRESENCE IS SO VISIBLE and could not be less than 22% and that too united. Do you know there is ONLY ONE MINORITY COMMUNITY IN INDIA AND MAKES EVERYBODY PROUD. THEY ARE THE BEST IN EVERYFIELD EXCEPT UNDERWORLD ACTIVITIES they ARE PARSEES !!!. Again another community hounded out by muslims. A few wrong examples do not alter facts. Go & see the in the Jail & Count the Heads. than only you can find only Good Nos of Brahmin are also in the Jail. If it is less in Numbers, that happens bcoz Brahmins are less prone to crime compare to Muslims & Dalit, is an elite & literate comunity.

I am a muslim and I still have faith in the Indian democracy. It is true that minorities are targetted and used to have political gains. But you tell me Wajid isnt it time for the muslims to improve ? Why are we muslims lacking behind in studies ? Why cant educated people like you and me volunteer to teach them? Why dont we have a sincere leader? Why do we accept some Gunda as our leader ? Islam has not gained a bad name due to what is written in the book but Islam has gained a bad name because we muslims have forgotten the Islamic principles and are involved in all sorts of vices.

digital i am happy that there are some good muslims like u in the country, who can give good suggestions to fellow muslims.
Every Indian has to Vote. It is not only the inherent right of every Indian but also to be considered as a holy one and also a powerful weapon for non-politicians like us. Let's not mind who wins or loses but we have to exercise our duty properly before making any hue and cry on any subject matter in Politics. Also India needs one strong non-coalition Govt. which is necessary to carry out and implement the Welfare measures in a large scale (if the rulers think so - let's be positive in our thinking). One single Party Govt. is better than the coalition Govt, since there will not be any threats and bargains from the coalition partners and the possibility of a lull and dull politician occupying a ministerial berth for which he is not at all suitable, is also much less. India can straighten itself on the day when more than 80% of the total voter population comes out to Vote. Hence dear fellow citizens of Mother India, Pls. go and Vote - because it is your duty and responsibility to elect a Good Government -either it be a State or Central. Jai Hind.
