How many more years these people will keep talking about Quota System in India? There is a limit for every thing. QUOTA SHOULD BE PURELY ON MERIT AND SOME PERCENTAGE FOR ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION. These people will ruin India by talking the rubbish things.

you are right for ECONOMICALLY weaker section..and not for COMMUNITY lower section...so a nation to attain its growth the economically backward people should be given SOME concessions..that is OK...Is all OBC are poor? or Is all FC& BC are rich?...surely not..quota shuld be on economic status..that is if a student gets a merit and if that student is economically backward(whether he is FC/BC/OBC) then QUOTA is APPRECIATABLE

Why not Tamil Nadu government ask to central government to call a special session for womens reservation bill along with more seat reservation in their political parties. Moreover Tamil Nadu Government called a Band on saturday against OBC reservation. Why not Political parties accepting their mistakes 57 years completed still we are not able to provide good schools/colleges to the SC/ST/OBc families. Than where the money goes?

Who gave you moral right and authority to ask for india's divison and is this what you have gained via education imparted using quotas and will this end here, won't you ask for further subdivison and ask a separate state for your family and community - Real Shame .
I myself come under OBC, but i am not dumb enough to not able to see through the cheap politics going on to garner political mileage .
What are the stats available with you :
-> Are you aware that many castes under OBC are many times well to do than so called General categories in states like Haryana, Punjab , Rajasthan, Himachal, Maharashtra and Gujarat - this is affirmed by Indian Government in front of Supreme Court .
--> Have you seen many so called upper castes employed as peons , clerks and various other posts - which are not economically well to do - do you think they hold the right to get reservation due to their economic backwardness .
--> In words of Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar - Current Reservation should go on only for 25 yrs. - after that economic backwardness not caste should be the criterion .
Think and get the facts right before you harp on to divisive tendencies .

Do we treat all equal in India? Not considering the caste, with other factors do you treat all the people equal? The 'honest' answer is NO. Did I say honest? We all just need some excuses to see the reality.
Please understand why BC people not opening their mouth like other upper caste, because this type of activity also they are backward. unlike northern state TN have more BC. TN chief is 100 % coorect.

"Idiot", OBC means Other Backward Class and not Other Backward CASTE! OBC reservations are based on the fundamentals of ECONOMIC condition of a Person and not as a bulk Reservation for any Caste. It was only SC & ST reservation that was based on Caste, coz those populations were traditionally shunned in India.
Adding Groups like Lingaayats, Gowda's in Karnataka, and Jats in Rajasthan shows what a farce this reservation for OBCs has become. These communities that I stated above are more rich than even the upper castes in those states. Add to that the fact the Rich amongst the so called castes identified as OBCs are not even eliminated from this "freebie", it clearly shows what kind of vote bank politics this reservation is all about!
Now we should have reservation even for illiterates, dacoits, thieves, criminals, kins of corrupt officials & Leaders and many other such categories (including cadres of LTTE, JKLF, Babbar Khalsa and other extremists groups) so that all of them can become a part of main stream India.
I am afraid seeing Politicans coming together for a great cause, i see no future for tamilnadu goverment nor people of tamilnadu, Tamilnadu is one of the state having more 70% reservation quote for students in education system for a long time, as there being any kind of survey or assessment of the same.
Politican are just surviving on the caste based vote system, what is the use of making caste based quote system when there is no significant growth in that area...
Politican will not think about eradicating OBC or SC or ST but they want to see that these class of people depend on life supporting system which they have provide through quota based system..
its pity that congress goverment is the only culprit for starting this kind of issue and system in the country and all the unwanted and useless political parties are using the same agenda to build their party
The situation is same in tamilnadu, bihar and other state, Supreme court has given good judgement too.
