Unanimouse resolution passed by the Tamil Nasu gvt should be appreciated.As some members points out here its the Parliament which has the full right in the contries internal affairs It is notcountry ruled by couple of uppercaste judges.The parliament members r elected by the majority of the indian people and they representing people,unlike the juges who mostly from the upper caste. We need more from Periyars followers to implement the reservation in this accadamic year itself.

Dear friend Given the type of opportunities in India,for all OBCs/ SC/ST /ABCs!!! what not why don't you fellows utilize them properly and come up in life. We will fully support any citizen economically backward to secure admission and free education to any level that he is capable of reaching by his own merit and not by his birth and pushing behind by some dirty, old, petty idiotic & corrupt politicians. The main reservation motive is to make more money thru capitation/seat allocation by these fellows. Do not get fooled. Make your house more transparent and improve your standards thru your own efforts. Brahmins/FC are not born rich and they come up thru hard work. Please emulate their example. You can not bring equanimity in knowledge by down grading/trampling the educated but by up lifting the unfortunate section by providing them the facilities and not confirming his seat all thru without any effort from him. What a rubbish state of affairs created by these politicians hoodwinking millions of poor people. Know that we are with you in your efforts & development secured thru merit. Jai Hind

The Chief Justice may be Dalit. He is not the only one Judge in Supreme Court. How many judges are there in the Supreme Court and out of which how many are Dalits & OBCs? Compare the percentage. Then, you will get to know.
Almost all the high/top level positions in India are occupied by the FC people particularly Brahmins (They are only 3% of Indian Population).
Before calling anyone as FOOL, you first know everything to make comments
We should not forget that for bringing some changes in nation every nations youth has initiated a revolution.In french revolution youth have participated a major role. In 1974 in our country Under the Jaiprakash Narayan, students of india had statrted revolution against the Emergency.Laloo, Nitish, Mulayam and others leaders paricipated in those Movements. But these leaders today have forgotten theirs real political ambition.
I Congrulute our friends of Youth for Equality to bring this matter before the Supreme Court.And Supereme Court decision is very Practical. How we can use those data Bank which are 75 years Old. But We should be Happy that we have won. We would have fight against those Politician, who belivea in Religion & Caste Base Politics. No 2 We have to take confidence of Government Called OBC & SC ST.
I think that those person who have born in India is Indian.He cannot be Forward, Backward,or S.C, S.T.
If those People are far behind from the race of Talented people. We should provide Opertunaties for getting those goals. But Giving reservation in jobs & other Professional Course, We will do Blunder. We will create such type of People who will not belive in Hardwork in Study. They will never know the inmportance of Talent. They will be in search of UNCONDITIONAL BENEFIT FROM THE GOVERNMENT.

TN MPs wont allow discussions in Parliament on Cauvery verdict saying it has been given by court/tribunal. But now they want to discuss about reservation in Parliament even though Supreme Court has given a ruling. Am amazed at these guys height of double standards.

As a seasoned politician, Karunanidhi should know that Parliament does not have infinite rights which can not stand judicial scrutiny. I am reminded of a famous quote from Harold Laski's book on Political Science and I quote " My right to swing my arms ceases where other fellow's nose bigin". That sums up the limitation of the Parliament's rights to enact laws which are not capable of standing against the judicial scrutiny. Some of our MPs comments on the rights of Parliament gives me an impression that they are more worried about the rights than on their duties.

in my opinion, the reservation should be at grass root level ie. at school level and that too for all economical backward people so that they become equal to forward caste up till they reach 12th. then there should be only merit based selection at college level. i don't think so that the reservation at elite institutes or as a matter of fact at any college will help in upliftment of the backward caste. this type of reservation at top level will only benefit the creamy layer of the backward caste only while th e poor people of these castes will continue to suffer.
