You 100% right. But unfortunately we Indians make these type of fraud & corrupted persons our hero or heroine. All the leaders whose politics are based on cast & religion are enemies of the nation. For their own vested interest they divide people either on cast or religion.

the new game politically motivated
by prema naik on Mar 31, 2007 10:51 AM  Permalink

It's all new game politically motivated, neither mayavati nor any other leader is interested in developments of brahmins or for that matter even dalits. They all are trying to play with sentiments of all of us thus making pavements for them to successfully make their own future and their own betterment. No one cares for any community or caste or creed and we all have to suffer equally. Earlier it was at the hands of Britishers and now our own leaders. So nothing new at all. Let us see how much passions we all have and how much we can sustain?

Mayawati

It is time the Brahmins use this opportunity to get into the power and try to create a casteless society, where all are equals. At the same time, they should also not believe Mayawati too much knowing how quickly she changes colours. They should always be vigilant and smart. Being in power they should protect their community from the onslaughts of the mulayams, congress communists etc. while ensuring equality for all.
May God bless all, more so the Brahmins who need support today in the days when they have been treated like the dalits of the yore.

Brahmins are not Indian origin they are aryans who invadede this beatiful and peace loving country.they divided country into various groups then into various castes. u chech their DNA and u wil find their origin.. these people take good education from India and go for good money and serve in other country.they have nolove for india and indian people. let it be we original mulniwasi of this country have accepted everybody and still wil do the same. we are readyy to accept them but they should stop communalism in this country and give chance to lower caste people to develop and explore their abilities

I like your idea of brahmins are too intelligent and shrewd & be thrown out of our country! This will leave india as dark, backward country according to your own words! Mr Yash you need not say this anyway. Already brahmins have left the country in masses and have helped the economy of the countries wherever they have settled.
You think brahmins are Indo-Iranians!!! Good. Improve on this. Come up with more innovative concepts such as brahmins are aliens who came to world from distant planets!!!

I am a Orthodox Muslim and I also agree with Mr.Deepak that Brahmins contributed a lot the economy and has developed a lot HIND and their Origin and patriotism cannot or should questioned.

What ever the mistake their elders long back has done like keeping(centralisation)of religious knowledge and making caste among the fellow Hindus has to be looked individually.

This is my Opinion.

Uziar Khan.

"BUT I SAY THESE BRAHMINS ARE INDO-IRANIANS & SHOULD QUIT OUR NATION"

This is a new spin. At least much better than saying Brahmins are Europeans!

So Bangladeshi refugees who came to India in 1971 have become Indian citizens with full voting rights, but for Brahmins who allegedly came to Indian 5,000 years ago, their nationality is still disputed!

With same logic, the whites would have been thrown out of US long time back.

"Brahmins are Indo-Iranians." That is just marvellous! Why does the Church need an army of missionaries when Hindus themselves are willing to do its job to strangle themselves.

caste poitics and politicians are ruling the country
by Thrinadh vasantavada on Mar 31, 2007 10:16 AM  Permalink

IT is frieghtening to see the mood in the counntry about castes. main culprits for all this are politicians who are dividing people on cast lines to gain political gains.every political party since independence was shouting from roof tops about the evils of caste system and vowed to eradicate itthe so called communists who talk about casteless and classless society are practising the same.It is high time that non political intellectuals and sponsible indian citigens who who care for the country shold raise to the occassion and do some thing or other wise I am afraid the nation will dis integrate.

DALIT UPLIFT IS NOT BY BRAHMIN SUPPRESSION.
by srinivas iragavarapu on Mar 31, 2007 09:53 AM  Permalink

Ram Vilas Paswan said on the floor of Lok sabha "we have not allowed a single Brahmin to become a minister" (in Deve Gowda`s government).Mayawati pulled the rug off BJP govt with a "single" vote.
These people should understand that suppressing Brahmins as a state policy has failed. It fails more when one wants uplift dalits.
