These idiots only care about their votebanks. By using 1931 data how can you decide about quotas and y the hell we need quotas ...... quota is for the people who are economically backward and if you see the current situation most of the students in these premier instiutes who got the ticket through quotas are not from poor families but from the families who have used this idiotic policies of our constitution in past.I my college most of the students who failed in exams are the ones who get entrance thru quots only and these are the ones who can't handle the extreme academic pressure and in the end commit suicide.These idiots even don deserve to be peons in these institutes. First we need to improve education at school level then think about higher education. This hampers the quality of education and mentality of people around them. I think india need president rule and president should not be like Mr kalam but like Navjot siddhu who don care and who believe in taking actions. Seriously diossapointed from these politicians if things will go like this then may god help this country.
When are we going to focus on important issue of improving quality of education and health. By Reservation laws government is wasting every body's time. Final we are ending up with substandard Indians - as the meritorious do not get opportunity and somebody we do not deserve wastes resources - this is 4th generation of national wastag creation process.

it is amazing to note how rigid people can become in their resposnes even in the face of pure logic.....how can data based on a survey done in 1931 be used 50 years later to establish that reservations are needed by so called backward classes. If you do a survey today, all the so called OBC's and their backwardness will vanish overnight given their current levels of prosperity.

I am not against reservation, we should go with it. BUT FOR THEM WHO REALLY NEED IT. Personally I know of some cases and there might of lot more where: a upper caste student could not conitnue his/her education due to money/family problem and a low caste but high earning family got the benefit. What is this???
This man is playing only politics, when our country need to stand for competition with others, it might have an adverse effect.
