Arjun is delusional!
by Ajay Mishra on Mar 29, 2007 02:21 PM  Permalink

He and politicians like him seem to have unanimously agreed that the electorate from "The General Category" are not going to make any difference in any election. And let me say that it is entirely wrong presumption. I agree that the general category people are divided, and that is so for obvious reasons that all of them can think and hence will have disparate opinions. But if united, they can be really very bad for any political aspiration Arjun might have.

On issue of reservation, all are coming together and with this united front, they can throw away idiots like Arjun Singh from office. And then next time, these politicians will never neglect GC while framing insane public policies.

Further Reservation
by Rahul Srinivasan on Mar 29, 2007 01:54 PM  Permalink

Why reservation after 59 years - do we not have enough !! Can't we rise above casteist politics even now - probably we would once the entire political system is cleansed of all these opportunistic personnel like Arjun Singh .
Does our revered HRD Minister think that by his acts he becomes an automatic choice for President after APJ's tenure expires - I guess he is gunning for that .

Reservation for whom?
by Debjit Adhikari on Mar 29, 2007 01:50 PM  Permalink

What is this reservation all about? Who needs them? Those who are not qualified to take up that education which is meant for higher intellects? Then why give them? Let there be reservation for those who can qualify with the rest of the candidates, with that amount of marks which those candidates who qualify & see how many seats remain vacant. Then only will these vote hungry politicians understand who they are fighting for. One can be economically poor but intellectually...? The country's future lies in these hands who happen to be not the cream of the society but the sediment. Can we afford to leave the country to them. Why doesn't the govt. improve their economic condition (which by now has improved many folds). After getting reservations in every sphere of life these so called OBCs will become sophisticated parasites.
