There is no need for any person to take Pakistan backwards. With zero democratic values, rampant corruption, law less borders, mushrooming mullas, worthless religious extremist preaching, rising illiteracy, women under slavery, practicing laws which nor not relevant to modern times and what not... Pakistan is already fast back tracking and there is no solution unless some leader is bold enough to separate politics from religion. You wil witness the same fate wih all these islamic countries once their oil money runs dry...
if not for him the whole 9/11 affir was to attack pakistan , it wasnt even imagined that mushrrf wont back taleban ,so usa could attack pakistan
instead its now fighting a useless war in afghanistan and has to pay pak for it ..lol
also becoz mushff secretly shares the nuclears with iran , usa is now trying to get them but mhff is too clever for them he makes money out of them at will

Musharraf came to power by toppling a elected, but utterly corrupt, government. He doesn't need people's support to continue his military rule. But now he is not finding any way to go out. If he becomes a civilian president, the next military chief may dethrone him, even kill him. On the other hand he can't remain army chief till his death. He is in a death-trap - only way out for him is through death or by fleeing to the US and living there till death in a heavily guarded house. I feel very sad for him.

Right Biswajit. I feel bad for him too. I try to compare him with past rulers of Pak and I find him much better than every one. I am sure he woould be respected in US, because deapite so much pressure from Muslim countries to not to side US and help US in blocking, stoppinf terrorism, Musharraf was the ONLY Single President, who stood all alone in the mad meniac world of Islam to fight against terrorism.
Musharraf time being a twinkle star of USA. When USA hand will removed from Musharraf he become like pupkln. More over incoming government will 100% sure that he will allow hime leave the country. It is better now itself musharraf start in a right manner in way and bring the democracy urgetly otherwise he will also get same treatment like Nawab Sharif. [Ex PM of Pakistan]
