Christianity is dying in Europe. Both Islam and Christianity are barbaric middle east religions which no one with a thinking brains will accept.
In Germany bibles tales are referred as "fairy tales".
And in USA bible belt states are the ones having most backward people.
In progressive states of USA in the west and north east, it is hinduism, buddhisism, and eastern philosophies that people are actually reading about if not converted into hinduism et al.
Caste system was based on KARMA and not some sort of superiority by birth. Krishan avtaar of Lord Vishnu himself was born in the low caste.
Valmikin was a dreaded decoit and low caste BUT ROSE LATER TO BECOME A BRAHMARISHI and wrote Ramayana.
You rise and become higher by your deeds.
And to those brahmind who think they are somehow superior by birth and look down to lower castes, all I have to say maarunga tujhe chappal se moorkh !

This is the reason why dalits have not progressed inspite of all the government suppport. They want shortcut to success. And the Brahmins never have any hatred against dalits where as dalits in all the forums have abused brahmins. If it continues, the coming days would be tough for the dalits
It is in favour of the Brahmins to tie up with Mayawati as SP and Congress are infact playing the OBC and Thakur cards where Brahmins are simply the voters whereas in BSP they are sharing a most of the power.
I agree with the observations of a few readers below. There are deliberate attempts by people impersonating as Hindus/Brahmins etc and trying to divide us. I have seen such efforts on many others forums as well. Beware of them.
Sameer Bhagwat is somehow trying to link respect for bramhins and respect for hindu religion when he says '...If you dont respect Brahmins you are not following Hinduism understand that..' thats utter bullshit.. one does not have to respect bramhins to respect hinduism. bramhins don't have monopoly over getting respect. if they do good deeds only then they will get respect. they can't expect respect just bcos they are bramhins. just bcos there are born as bramhins does not mean they r great! Misinformed people like Sameer are often quoted and misused by Zakir Naik & Co and make hinduism weaker.
