I am telling study until 12th in India & go for college in US, especially for Science studies!!! A bit expensive, but worth study!!! Expensive but riches can afford, others can be through scholarships!!! I am not telling Indian Institutes are not quality!!!

IIT btechs are good, but that is mainly due to choosing from a large population of 1 billion. In fact most of them are not geniuses, just organized hard workers. If it were so great, why is it Indians go to the US to do masters/phd/research and not other way around. How many people from other countries come to do research or study in India? On the other hand the best from IITs all want to go abroad to study or work. Especially to the US.
Happy to see Indians have been recongnized every part of the world. It is Nice for young Indians to get world class eduction around the world without any hurdles in the near future. Lets we encourage young talents to get right type of eduction.
Invest in eduction, in return which gives name, fame, prosperity to our nation.
I have few friends who are working in U.S and they dont want U.S studies for their sons & daughters. They says its not only expensive & on the culture which they are learning is bluder..they send them to study in india...??

I have to agree with you and your friends in US. If they study and live in India they get used to competition, hard work and lot of struggle after which it will be better for them to go and live in USA. If they grow in USA and study there, it's not only expensive they will grow up to be one of those americans who just wants to sit on their fat ass, eat donuts and complain about how H1B is ruining the USA.

This is the best soluation JP. Fundamentals of schooling is better in India and if you have your basic schooling in India it will be very easy for you to get higher eductaion in US. Since you learn to work harder during your schooling in India and that will gives you an edge over american students when you go into higher education in US.Just make sure to have all your schooling in english.

I am from US too and i don't want my children to study here at all ...Only earn if possible..If you make them study here ...You will regret after a decade ...remember these golden words....
they just want the cream from our country to study and work for them while they send their dumb and uncultured students to s.asia to finish our culture and tradition. and anyways americans say the good things about India only in India ! backstabbers!

You are absolutely right. All these people say these when they are in India and when the reach to US they starts speaking different language. On the otther side Indian students are also interested in making bucks in US rather than studies. So there is chor in both sides. So can%u2019t blame any of them.
so what new about that .Every other country behaves in the same way . it is a darwinian law of survival. only the most intelligent , adaptable will survive and prosper .that is true of animals , civilisations and countries.

Yeah, as if India with its billion people and dirty politics can provide us with quality higher education all the while while paying us enough for our research so we can support our families and still live comfortably. Try doing a PhD in India...

You are true. as per the issue/complaint of some MNCs on quality of indian professionals, i would defenitely say that with the perseverence and work that we show, it would take us into big league if the right quality of education is provided. I am doing my M.Sc in Germany, i feel that our students though not comparable to German students mostly, but our attitude is excellent that we cud gain much better with good quality university education in India itself.

you look like the kinds who will board the first flight abroad at any given instance! Do you really want to live like a second class citizen forever? Think hard-forget about the materialistic gains my friend-if life was so gloomy in India, things would have been a lot harder. I am not denying the fact that there are problems but is escaping the only way out? No offence meant to your views but don't you want to share the burden of responsibilty?
